You can’t bring yourself to face your past trauma. You’ve been to countless self-help programs and created a self-care routine, but the past still torments you. Deep down, there’s something you can’t confront, a darkness that won’t relent. You’ve been isolating yourself from your friends and family because you’re afraid you’ve become a burden. You feel alone, tired all the time, and annoyed at yourself for not being “over it.”

Finding a therapist you connect with is extremely important. I have worked extensively with individuals, couples, and, families, to improve, or repair, their relationships and their lives. I specialize in relationship issues, traumas (including victims of crimes), separation, divorce, and mid-life changes. I believe everyone has the ability within, to enhance their lives, their relationships, and to stop the pain that has become unbearable by depression, anxiety, grief, and/or loss. Please call for a free consultation to see if I may be the therapist you feel comfortable with.

We do not seek a therapist because we are crazy, sick or broken; we seek help when our challenges outstrip our ability to cope. You may want to change, but feel locked into old behaviors and patterns. In therapy, you take a journey into yourself. I serve as a guide, pointing out areas of interest; highlighting new perspectives and helping you make your own choices along the way. I help carry the burden until you are strong enough to carry it yourself or discover that there is no burden left.

Calling all South Asian Misfits who feel like they don't belong: Being yourself does not make you "less" of a South Asian; it makes you a more genuine one. If you have been ever labeled the "Black sheep" of your community or family, been told that you are "Too South Asian", or "Not South Asian enough", you belong right here! That's why I go by "The Bad Indian Therapist", because as someone who was raised Indian and Catholic, I've also been called these things too. I'm here to tell you that sometimes it's OK to be "bad", and even if we did everything right, we're still going to make mistakes. So, let's be "bad" together!
