Sometimes life doesn’t unfold the way we imagined. You may be holding it all together on the outside, while inside feeling anxious, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Maybe you’re navigating a big life change, questioning who you are, or carrying emotions that feel too heavy to hold alone. Therapy can be a space to pause, exhale, and reconnect with yourself. I work with individuals and couples who want to feel more grounded, understood, and connected.

Using Internal Family Systems, attachment-based work, and Gottman-informed tools, I help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, navigate boundaries, and deepen connection—or consciously uncouple with clarity and respect.
As an openly gay, bi-cultural man, I know what it’s like to push yourself to fit into spaces that weren’t built with you in mind. I specialize in working with gay men, trans and non-binary people, and couples or partners of all kinds. Many of my clients feel stuck in patterns of shame, people-pleasing, disconnection, or recurring conflict. I offer an affirming, grounded (and often times silly) space to explore identity, intimacy, and relational patterns with honesty and care. I work with couples and partners across diverse relationship structures, including monogamous, open, polyamorous, lifestyle/swinger, and kink-based dynamics.

Life brings an array of obstacles, and navigating them can often feel overwhelming. My ideal clients are individuals of all ages—children, adolescents, and adults—who are navigating seasons of profound change, grief, or stress and are looking for a safe space to heal and grow. I draw from IFS, strength based, narrative, and attachment therapies.
I believe that everyone’s story deserves to be heard, that all parts of their lived experience hold meaningful value, and that their strengths — both the ones they know and the ones still emerging — deserve to be honored. My hope is to create an environment that feels warm, safe, and accepting, where clients can explore all parts of themselves. Our work together may look like shared laughter at times, facing difficult feelings, and exploring the social cultural and political forces that shape us.

You read all the books and listened to all the podcasts, but opening your relationship wasn’t as easy and straight forward as you thought. You’re feeling jealous and the usual distractions aren’t working. You also may be exploring kink, D/s dynamics but you need some guidance on figuring out what you want. Maybe you want to be more assertive as a Dom or you’re having trouble surrendering and dropping into sub space.

Let me help you process core negative beliefs and patterns to alleviate anxiety, perfectionism, & stressful negative emotions using EMDR (a big “T” and little “t” trauma modality), IFS (a framework to bring awareness to different parts of yourself), and emotion-focused approaches to cultivate compassion toward the part of you that needs it most.
I’m Hayley, a LMFT, working with hyper-independent women navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationships, and infertility. You may find you've always been the "strong one". You may notice a pattern of not feeling good enough, inadequate, or unworthy no matter how hard you try. I'm here to help you rely on others, feel connected in your relationships, and/or authentically connect to your sense of self.
My couples feel stuck in miscommunication, conflict, and disconnection. They feel alone even when together, angry, or stuck wishing for a relationship that "could be" instead of leaning into the relationship that "is".

You don’t have to pretend you’re “fine” anymore. So many of us are good at holding it all together - showing up at work, caring for others, keeping the routine moving - while inside feeling lonely, restless, or cut off from what really matters. Maybe it’s your relationship, your sex life, or simply how you feel in your own skin. You may be craving more - not just comfort, but intimacy and meaning that make each day feel worthwhile.

I use a variety of trauma-informed, holistic interventions such as EMDR, IFS, attachment theory, and polyvagal theory to help get to the root of the stuck feelings, negative beliefs, and distressing memories.
Your anxiety, depression or trauma is making life more and more difficult. You are struggling to sleep, relax or enjoy the things you used to. Daily stressors and demands feel overwhelming; you're burnout and exhausted. You feel stuck in a vicious cycle of overthinking, perfectionism and comparing yourself to others. No matter how hard you try nothing ever feels good enough. You feel lost and alone. You often worry that you are a burden or that other’s won’t understand so you keep all the pain inside and try to manage it on your own. You are tired of waking up each day hoping it will be better and are ready for real, lasting change.

What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.
How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.
Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.
How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
