In the midst of these uncertain and trying times around the COVID-19 pandemic it is easy to find ourselves wrapped up in fear and anxiety. Although these emotions are normal, they definitely are not comfortable, and left unchecked can result in a downward spiral of isolation, disconnection, and depression. First and foremost, I want you to know that you are not alone in this, and encourage you to stay connected to loved ones as best as possible. We are innately built to be resilient, and meaningful interpersonal connections are the avenues for such strength. However, sometimes we can have that and still be overwhelmed with fear.
