I work with a variety of people facing a variety of challenges, but many of my clients face addictions and other compulsive behavior patterns (either in themselves or a loved one), relationship problems, or some kind of trauma .
Suffering with emotional pain can leave us feeling disoriented and miserable in the present, and discouraged and afraid about the future. Yet we all have an innate impulse to survive, heal, and recover. You're heeding that impulse right now—all we need to begin your journey of healing is for you to keep heeding it. We'll discover the rest together, one step at a time. Imagine getting to know new parts of yourself and giving them the attention they’ve been yearning for. Hopping out of bed in the morning feeling whole, healthy, and positive. Meeting life’s difficulties with skill and finesse instead of brute force.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is particularly potent for those struggling with depression, trauma , and anxiety.
The future of psychotherapy is with psychedelics. I have dedicated my life to bringing these tools above ground. I come to this meaningful work with integrity, heartfelt curiosity, and humility after witnessing how transformative psychedelics can be for individuals. I see healing and human connection as an essential aspect of what’s needed for our planet right now and nothing gives me more joy than to see people discovering their vitality and passion for life again. I currently work with ketamine and I also offer support to individuals dabbling with psychedelics and microdosing, providing risk reduction and integration.

I work with adults & kiddos struggling to come out of their shell as well as folx seeking support around grief, trauma , gender & sexuality.
Choosing a therapist is an important decision. In my experience, the best therapeutic work happens when there is a strong relationship between you and your therapist. I believe that healing happens when you are able to share your inner world with another person and feel safe and supported doing so. My goal is to create an environment where you feel seen, heard, cared for, and understood. The therapeutic process can be both challenging and rewarding. Processing your experiences in therapy helps to deepen self-awareness, and can positively impact your mood, functioning, and interpersonal relationships.

Trauma makes a profound impact on one's body, brain, sense of self, and the way one perceives the world.
I specialize in working with trauma survivors. For the past ten years, I have been providing therapy to survivors of abusive relationships/domestic violence, sexual abuse, and adult women and men who were molested as children. I am certified in EMDR, an integrative psychotherapy treatment for processing of traumatic memories and adverse experiences and bringing them to an adaptive resolution. I am curious about who my clients are and what each of them needs; I see them as experts of their experiences and I feel honored to be a part of a mutual exploration of their self.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists

When should I seek treatment for trauma?

Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.

How long does trauma therapy take?

Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.

What happens if trauma is left untreated?

Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.

Can PTSD come back after treatment?

It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
