The core of my work uses Somatic Experiencing (SE), a body-oriented approach grounded in neuroscience and trauma-informed research.
I work with high-potential, creative and sensitive beings, who may feel stuck and burned out. I've discovered personally how somatic therapy revitalizes the organism and resolves psychological and health issues at the source. In particular it can shift anxiety, chronic pain, depression, loneliness, and imposter syndrome. It works to restore the nervous system to a state of healthy regulation, energy, flow and feeling at home in your body. This provides a foundation of authentic self-esteem that becomes the basis for a meaningful career and a network of healthy relationships—a life that feels great on the inside.

I believe that creating a safe space infused with respect, compassion, and humor is central to supporting people to embark on a journey towards healing. I incorporate somatic and values-based approaches to help people identify and release longstanding patterns and beliefs that are no longer serving them and move towards a more balanced, satisfying, and values-based life. Whether you are struggling with trauma, grief, anxiety or wanting help sorting out a life transition, I feel humbly honored to be invited along in your journey towards deeper peace.

I utilize spiritual and energetic tools alongside of western tools and somatic trauma approaches to healing.
I am a therapist and energy healer who works at the intersections of healing, spirituality, and social change. I support people on their journeys of liberation and reclaiming their sovereignty and wholeness. Prior to being a therapist, I worked as an immigrant rights attorney. I wanted to support people in getting free from oppressive and broken systems. Over time, I realized that we deeply internalize many of these oppressive systems and I became more interested in how we can liberate our hearts, minds, bodies, and souls from their harm and reinforcement.

I use somatic (body-based) tools as well as EMDR to help clients build resilience and an increased sense of inner safety and connectedness.
Therapy is an opportunity to rediscover what it feels like to be at home in yourself. It is a process of making the road by walking—of taking step after step to explore your experiences, beliefs, inner knowing, pain and hope in order to create a more meaningful and authentic life. My aim is to support you on this path through grounded presence, honesty and deep care.

My work with clients is bolstered by many interventions, including but not limited to psychodynamic therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic therapy, religious and spiritual therapies, mindfulness therapy, grief counseling, and more.
If you're worried about your teen, I am ready to help. Having spent years working with young adults and adolescents who are struggling, I am skilled in providing support in a caring, non-judgmental way. Together I work with clients to lay down the groundwork of self-compassion to build healthier thinking, behaviors, and relationships. Over time, my teen clients have more insight and skills to use in their daily lives. My experiences working in residential substance abuse and eating disorder facilities have helped me connect with teens and develop an arsenal of skills to assist even the most withdrawn adolescent.

Modalities: Psychodynamic & Attachment, integrating NARM, BodyMind, Somatic Experience, EMDR, DSTT.
I am a trauma specialist working with developmental, relational, and shock traumas. Relationship is what we long for from our deep selves. From birth, our instinct is to connect in order to feel safety, comfort, and wholeness. This yearning moves with us throughout our lives. Connection gives us a sense of belonging and of being "okay". Be it the relationship with self, body, others, and life experience, the connection and flow of it is vital for healthy functioning. When the connection is blocked, frozen, or severed, a whole-self cannot thrive. Reconnecting is essential for our authentic self-expressions.
