My practice specializes in COUPLES as well as individuals who want to grow together and let go of old patterns that aren’t serving them anymore. Your therapy has to feel like a good fit, so I use my curiosity and experience to help us discover what feels right. I hope to offer safety in our sessions together, bringing warmth, respect and humor to the relationship. I also work with individuals on issues of recovery, codependency, chronic pain and illness, relationship and intimacy issues, NPD abuse healing, anxiety/depression and early attachment wounds. I also work with neuroplastic pain and the fear that can worsen symptoms.

Hi, I'm Kristal Bayer, Through out my life I felt a calling to help other others. As a young adult, I was unsure in what capacity. After taking several psychology courses. I knew i was destined to be a therapist and help people just as you who may feel stuck in a rut in life, have had traumatic experiences, are struggling with depression, anxiety, etc. We all deserve to live life and enjoy it. To have positive life experiences, develop healthy family and friendship bonds, to be able to sleep without the dread of tomorrow.

You deserve a life that feels good for your nervous system. Maybe you’ve been anxious, overwhelmed, grieving, or stuck in work-related stress for so long that it’s hard to remember what ease feels like. I work with highly sensitive adults—often creatives, professionals, and deep feelers—who’ve learned to hold it all together on the outside while quietly unraveling within. Many are navigating trauma that’s hard to name but deeply felt. If you’re looking for tools to feel more settled—or space to slow down and reflect—I’ll meet you there with warmth, curiosity, and care that’s both grounded and transformative.

I work best with people who appreciate a multi-disciplinary approach that draws from neuroscience, medical knowledge and theories of thought. I value culture and principles of nature as points of reference to help explain human behaviors and to create change. I highly believe that insight is the 101 of growth and I believe in the human potential to overcome and to expand in harmonious ways, despite potentially self-destructive evolutionary tendencies.

Years ago I read a joke, "Fish don't know they're in the water". The scenario is: Fish Number 1 asks Fish 2, "How's the water?" Fish 1 responds, "What the hell is water?". The fish who is "IN" the situation (hence the water) does not even realize its surrounding. IF you are experiencing difficulties and painful emotions in your relationships, marriages and/or current life circumstances and you feel that what surrounds you should not be normal but it's what you know and that's what's happenning, understand that there is a way out of that. It starts with differentiating between seeing things as they are and seing things as WE are.
