Your child is a source of light. But perhaps you've noticed their light has dimmed recently and you feel concerned. Perhaps your teen is falling behind in school, having difficulty connecting with their friends, or experiencing confusion as they explore their gender identity. Your young child may be having anger outbursts or challenges with their behavior at home. Adjusting to the post-COVID lifestyle might be causing ongoing worries and changes in mood or personality. Or your child might have experienced a major stressor like divorce, a death in the family, or even a traumatic event like a car accident or an act of violence.

In today's world we are surrounded by constructive and destructive forces. It is easy to get sucked in by the destructive forces such as fear or negativity which can lead to uneasiness, isolation, and disappointments. I believe therapy can be a helpful space to shift your focus to more constructive forces within yourself, your family, and your community. Therapy can help you to channel the pain into creation of a peaceful act, whether that's developing greater self-compassion, or untangling any relationship issues.

If you’re here, chances are you’ve been carrying more than anyone can see—grief that lingers, anxiety that won’t quiet, or relationships that feel harder than they should. You may feel exhausted from holding it all together, disconnected from yourself or those you love, and unsure how to ask for what you need. You long for relief from constant overthinking, for steadier relationships, and for space to process loss without being consumed by it. Therapy can help you return to yourself with clarity, compassion, and hope.

How might you show yourself compassion today? Where can you exercise more curiosity, in place of judgement? Imagine speaking to yourself with the same gentle grace and care you would typically give to a friend, loved one or child. Many of us struggle to be kind and patient with ourselves, especially if we have endured or been witness to traumatic experiences. I believe that we are all capable of change and healing, if we lead with compassion. In our work together, we will focus on nurturing your relationships, starting with the self, unlocking your innate ability to heal, feel, grow, connect, redefine and transcend beyond your pain.

I am a specialist in grief, loss and trauma encompassing the entire spectrum of women's maternal mental health. I help women (and their partners) with healthy pregnancies, postpartum depression and anxiety, pregnancy loss, infertility, surrogacy - as well as NICU, miscarriage, late term loss, IVF failures, termination for fetal/medical reasons (TFMR) and stillbirth and infant/child loss. Sadly, 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage and 1 in 8 will have trouble with conception. I blend psychology, ritual, reiki energy healing, trauma informed guided meditations and more to help facilitate and support women, couples and families.

I help clients struggling with self-doubt move past the “what if's” and learn how to stay grounded in reality and trust themselves. I especially enjoy working with clients with “Pure O” who ruminate about identity, sexuality, religion, morality, relationships, and harm. I received my BA with Honors from Brown University and my master’s from Boston College. I acquired my clinical training at McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School’s largest psychiatric affiliate, in the division of Anxiety & Mood Disorders. I also trained at the OCD Institute, the nation’s first and foremost treatment center for obsessive-compulsive disorder.

You might look like you’re doing well from the outside... Capable, thoughtful, responsible and yet inside, you may feel anxious, disconnected, ashamed, or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to outthink. I specialize in working with emotionally intelligent individuals who carry a heavy inner world. Many of my clients grew up having to be strong too early, manage other people’s emotions, or make themselves smaller to stay connected. As adults, this often shows up as chronic self-criticism, difficulty trusting relationships, fear of abandonment, struggles with motivation, or using substances, food, or distraction to cope.

Imagine a world where your relationships are embodied with playfulness & attunement. A world with direction and jubilance of your own adventure; this is that door. I invite you to walk though it together. Is there a dance within your life that has similar steps but different variations that contribute to tension & scission? This is the beginning of something different. This is the chance to move through the loneliness & isolation that has deadened your life. My intention is to walk with you on the journey of knowing yourself. I strongly believe in open curiosity paired with synergy which is the bedrock to a trust-based relationship.
