At Mindful Neuron, we work with families whose children are facing challenges in school—whether with learning differences, ADHD, autism, or emotional struggles like anxiety. Parents often come to us wanting answers, clarity, and a plan they can trust. We provide comprehensive evaluations and psychological testing to uncover strengths and pinpoint areas needing support. Our goal is to give families practical strategies that help children succeed in school, build confidence, and prepare for higher learning. Every child is unique, and we honor their identity, language, and values while guiding their long-term growth and well-being.

For sixteen years I've been seeing clients (both individuals and couples) and my goal has always been to help them achieve meaningful change, whether in getting through a difficult current situation or wanting to break old patterns that keep them from living a more fulfilling life. Some challenges I've helped people overcome include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, feeling stuck in a rut, grief, hopelessness, self-esteem issues, and work-related stress. Exploring these issues with a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental therapist can really help.

I have a passion for seeing my clients have a transformational experience, evolving toward becoming more fully realized versions of themselves. Let's talk about your difficulties, fears, or sadness. Let's understand your anxiety or anger. And let's do it in a warm and safe space where we will set judgment aside. We'll explore how you became who you are today, and perhaps along the way you'll discover a kinder view of yourself, capable of moving away from bitterness or anger, unleashing your creativity, and ultimately knowing yourself through your profound relationships with others.

Hi, I’m Gabriela, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps teens and adults untangle the messiness of depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, and others. Therapy with me isn’t about sitting in silence or pretending everything’s fine — it’s about being real, sometimes laughing through the chaos, and learning new ways to handle life when it feels like “too much."
I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, MBSR, and Motivational Interviewing (basically, a mix of science, mindfulness, and genuine human connection). I tailor each session to you — no cookie-cutter therapy here.
