I believe in the inherent wisdom of the body and incorporate emotional and somatic awareness into my holistic practice. By listening to the body, we can navigate past traumas and painful experiences together. Additionally, I explore issues within the broader context of an individual's life, showing curiosity about diversity factors such as gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, class, ability, religion, spirituality, and community.

Anxiety, depressive feelings, afraid of where the future may lead, or trying to figure out how to get over initial humps are common, but may also feel emotionally and physically draining. Therapy should be thoughtful, supportive, and provide a sense of safety for you to be yourself. In her practice she works with adults and families navigating life changes, mental health challenges, societal injustices, and those aiming to end their intergenerational trauma. With certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Enhanced Illness Management and Recovery, she specializes in addressing trauma, complex-trauma, racial trauma, and stress-related issues, as well as anxiety, depression, and grief.

I work with a diverse population with varying goals. For some it is to work through their anxiety and depression, and for others it is to work through their current struggles with relationships, parenting, career or loss of a loved one. I help clients understand how they want to live, and to explore, meet and overcome their challenges. My relationship with each client is unique and an important part of therapy. I incorporate different types of treatment and work from an inclusive perspective of each client's own experience. I meet with clients in my office, offer walking sessions in the park and sessions via Zoom.

I have worked with adolescents and individuals with special needs in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, in the areas of trauma, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders, most of which included dual diagnoses. I have also worked in residential care and treatment for those 18+ who sought relief and recovery from mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, complicated grief, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, psychosis, and co-occurring disorders of substance misuse, disordered eating, gaming, and social media addictions.
