My clinical experiences include providing therapy to working professionals of all ages and students in higher education settings, with an emphasis in ADHD , Clinical Depression, and Anxiety.
Imagine the freedom of being your authentic self. I make it a priority to create a safe and non-judgmental space when you enter the world of therapy. We will explore the cards you were dealt with and together, find the best hand for you. My approach includes addressing the root of your presenting problem and creating a customized plan collaboratively that will work towards your goals for therapy. In sessions, I often share various perspectives and insights about your situation that will help you understand yourself better. I will sometimes assign what I call “quest of the week” to help guide you to level up your lifestyle.

I have advanced training in treating anxiety, ADD / ADHD and LGBTQ issues and much of my work centers on helping people increase their daily focus and motivation and rediscover meaning and purpose in their lives.
Feeling stuck or caught in an endless loop of personal challenges? Therapy is where we can discover the unconscious patterns of our behavior that unknowingly create recurring problems in our lives. It is also where we can explore our hidden selves and examine what it means to be both vulnerable and strong. You may be seeking therapy for emotional healing, relationship challenges or contemplating a significant life change. Whatever your reason, my goal as a therapist is to help the people I work with ignite healing transformations through insight, awareness, self-discovery, self-compassion and cognitive skill building.

I have worked with teenagers and children with ADHD , bipolar disorder, borderline disorder, substance use, and attachment disorders.
First and foremost, congratulations for taking the first step of taking care of your needs! Starting that first step can be very daunting and to be here at this very moment, I want to take a moment to celebrate YOU. I believe strongly that in order to become the main characters of our lives—authentic to who we are and who we want to become— we have to start by allowing ourselves to explore and reflect on our current journey and if we are where we want to be. Allowing ourselves that vulnerability in self exploration, in understanding why we do what we do, is one that leads to self improvement and discovery.

My specialties include working with individuals who are late-diagnosed or self-identified ADHD or autistic, those experiencing anxiety and depression, grief and loss, and the effects of trauma.
In a fast-paced world full of distractions, it's easy to become overwhelmed and run-down. When this happens, it's important to slow down and take care of yourself. Mental and emotional health is just as important as physical, and therapy can be a way for you to learn tools to regain stability and overcome obstacles you may be facing. People sometimes find themselves uncertain about starting therapy. My goal as your therapist is to create a safe space where you feel supported and heard as we work together to navigate challenges that come your way.

I have strong strategies for managing ADHD and other learning disabilities, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, work-life-balance, and goal completion.
I believe in meeting my clients where they are. My priority is creating a safe space where authentic and vulnerable collaboration can nurture positive change. I believe that while all individuals possess the ability to be healthy and happy, sometimes life events, obstacles or unhealthy patterns cause us to lose confidence in our ability to achieve our goals. The right support can elevate hope and get us back on track.

I have had the privilege to work with individuals with generational trauma, grief, ADHD , and relational/familial issues.
When we are exposed to trauma at an early age, it can seriously impact how we feel about ourselves and our relationships with others. Trauma can also profoundly affect whether we feel this is a safe world and can contribute to depression, anxiety, and relational/familial issues. My practice is from a strengths-based, trauma-informed perspective with a non-judgmental framework. I aim to understand clients’ internal responses and to provide more options for emotional regulation and problem-solving.

I have worked with survivors of sexual abuse, generational trauma, immigration trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, OCD, PTSD and ADHD .
I have passion for lending a helping hand. As first generation Latina and a daughter of immigrants, I firsthand understand that taking the first step to therapy may be difficult. I believe it is important for others to understand, that I am a human being as well, I am a mother, a wife, a daughter and a sister. I believe that we are the result of every experience in life, whether it was a good one or a bad one. My approach is to work in collaboration with my clients to figure out the best suited approach for their personal development because after all this is their journey.

Additionally, I conduct child and adult ADHD and learning disability assessments.
My career has been dedicated to helping individuals and their loved ones break down mental, relational, and environmental barriers keeping themselves from embracing and empowering their sense of self in the world. It can be rather easy to feel stuck in the past from previous life experiences or feel lost in the future from the pressures of the world. However, we all have the strength to free ourselves from these distractions and focus on our true and present self. Allow yourself and your loved ones the compassion, reflection, and intent to use these challenges as a way to restore your identity and your connections with the world.

Have you ever wondered if you have ADHD ? Have you felt frustrated with therapy and wanted clarification on your diagnosis? Sometimes psychological/neuropsychological evaluation can help to elucidate the problem and provide illuminating recommendations toward recovery. An objective assessment looking at your whole being and context can be your next step. I do NOT provide therapy services, but only perform neuropsychological/psychological evaluations.

ADHD Therapists
Some children and adults with ADHD find it difficult to concentrate on tasks at school or work and may daydream frequently. Children with ADHD may become disruptive, defiant, or have trouble getting along with parents, peers, or teachers. Children who struggle with hyperactivity and impulsivity, in particular, often have behavioral challenges that can be difficult for adults to manage. Adults, on the other hand, may be more likely to report feeling restless or fidgety; if they struggle with impulsivity, they may make rash decisions that adversely affect their life. For both children and adults, executive functioning (planning, emotional regulation, and decision-making) is often affected as well. Many children and adults display either hyperactive or inattentive symptoms of ADHD, but it’s also possible for both sets of symptoms to exist together, in what is typically called combined type ADHD.
