As a Muslim, Palestinian, Arab-American, neurodivergent woman, I understand deeply the nuances of growing up with cultural or religious practices, values, and expectations that differ from those around me. My background affords me the ability to create a space based in compassion, understanding, and humility for others to share the parts of themselves they struggle with. I work best with GenZ-ers and Millennials looking for support in areas including cultural issues, trauma, relationships, and navigating adulthood with ADHD.

On the outside, you have it all figured out. You’re the guy people rely on—the one who stays calm, works hard, and gets things done. But internally, the engine is redlining. Maybe you’re stuck in a loop of overthinking, feeling a quiet sense of dread you can’t quite name, or dealing with a "numbness" that makes your life feel like a performance. You’ve tried logic and willpower, but they aren’t working anymore.

Relationships still feel difficult, even when you're trying your best. You may be reading the books, following relationship experts on social media, and genuinely trying to apply what you learn, yet still feeling unfulfilled in your relationships with family members, romantic partners, or close friends. No matter how hard you try, the same familiar patterns keep showing up. You might feel frustrated when issues come up because, even though you know how you want to respond, your reactions seem to take over anyway. You replay conversations and overanalyze what you said or didn't say. And yet, deep down, you know you're meant for more.

You might be holding it all together on the outside, going to work, highschool, or college, showing up for friends and family, yet inside wondering, “Is this really it?” Maybe you’re navigating relationship struggles, self-doubt, or the pressure to do it all perfectly. Life transitions can feel exciting and overwhelming at the same time. You want to feel more confident and connected to yourself, but it’s hard to quiet the swirl in your head, manage the stress, and fully trust your own voice. Therapy can be a place to sort through the noise, pause, and reconnect with what matters most to you.

I'm a client-centered therapist informed by a number of modalities including somatics & mindfulness, IFS/parts work, depth psychology, dance & expressive arts, trauma & liberation, attachment & interpersonal neurobiology, and brainspotting.
I support people navigating the often overwhelming and lonely experience of healing from c-PTSD, or complex relational trauma. Early trauma, whether from unmet needs or overt abuse, can warp our sense of self and imprison us in frozen fear, shame, or reactivity, impacting every aspect of our lives. Therapy can help us find more freedom and connection – to all the lost and disowned parts of our psyches; to our amazingly resilient bodies, fiercely compassionate hearts and creative spirits; to other beings, community, and nature; to the present moment; to meaning and purpose; and to a felt sense of safety, agency, and possibility.

I also blend into our work Brainspotting, dream analysis, meditation, breath work, mind/body awareness, active imagination, art, play, and sand tray therapies.
Being human isn't always easy, and when life gets complicated and becomes challenging, therapy can help offer tools to navigate through a crisis while providing you a deeper exploration of yourself. Problems in relationships often come from old ways of coping that served you in the past, but now may be keeping you from feeling fulfilled and satisfied with your life. I believe our most challenging times can also be our greatest opportunity for change. Healing is possible, and therapy is a journey towards self-discovery where you get to explore the landscape of your own mind.

I integrate evidence-based treatments such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Brainspotting to help clients strengthen emotional regulation, process deeper experiences, and create meaningful, lasting change.
People often come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand—whether related to anxiety, relationships, perfectionism, or major life transitions. Often there is a sense that something deeper is driving these struggles, even if it’s hard to put into words. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, eating disorders, body image concerns, perfectionism, and women’s issues. I help clients better understand the emotional patterns shaping their experiences while developing a healthier relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.

Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.

How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.

How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
