I am glad you found me. I fuse Zen and Mindfullness techniques with core childhood work to create a unique, powerful healing approach. I understand what it is like to be saddened, anxious, or confused by life's experiences. We can't change our pasts, but we can change our beliefs and feelings about what our pasts meant. I use a unique approach of “explore, process, heal, challenge, reframe,” to work closely with my patients to help them develop awareness and create new possibilities, to redefine their history. I can help you move out of pain, depression, or anxiety, and create a new healthier and happier life. It's powerful

My passion is people. I have worked with individuals, couples and families for over 25 years. I learned early on that whether you are having trouble getting out of bed in the morning or feel like you'll never have the love in your life that you want, feeling heard, understood, and accepted is what opens the door to your new life. So my goal is not to change you into someone that you're not. My goal is for you to understand, accept and love yourself for who you truly are. That is where your power lives.

DECIDING TO BEGIN PSYCHOTHERAPY IS A COURAGEOUS ACT. I enjoy working with clients who, via symptoms such as depression, anxiety, sexual-orientation or career issues, eating disorders, life transitions, or relationship issues are seeking a deeper understanding of their lives and which direction they wish to take. Often the symptom is the "call" from psyche, a portal into a deeper exploration into one's life which may yield increased self-awareness and introductions to formerly unknown aspects of one's own being. I feel privileged to be called upon to accompany individuals on this journey. At this time,

I believe that within each person lies resilience, wisdom, and the capacity for growth - even in the midst of struggle. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship challenges, you don’t have to navigate these difficulties alone. Psychotherapy offers a space to tap into your inner resources and create meaningful change so you can live more fully, weather ease, joy, and authenticity. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR for trauma resolution, mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and resource-oriented skills training.

Living with bipolar disorder involves navigating a world of contrasting highs and lows, where emotional and energy levels can vary dramatically. One week your life couldn’t be better, and the next it’s tough to get out of bed. This condition not only affects mood but can also impact relationships, work, and overall quality of life. Understanding and managing these fluctuations is crucial for maintaining balance and well-being.

Hello, I'm Alan Lawrence, licensed clinical social worker (LCS12658). I hold three master's degrees in psychology, social work and gerontology. We age from birth with many challenges and changes as we grow older. A burden shared is a burden lifted. Accomplish your goals and move forward. Learning lessons from the past and understanding your thinking process and internal dialogue (cognitive-behavioral) will empower you with new insights and direction. Let's get started. I customize therapy sessions to the individual's needs. I can be eclectic but do emphasize cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches to treatment.

I earned my MSW from the University of Southern California in 2021, and my passion for mental health work has only deepened since then. I work with teens and adults (ages 12 and up) who are navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and the often-complicated layers beneath them. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing—not as a one-size-fits-all plan, but as tools we can use together to meet your needs and goals. In session, I show up with curiosity, care, and respect for your lived experience. You don’t have to go through this alone.

Life doesn't always unfold the way we expect. At certain points - during transitions, losses, relationship challenges, or periods of uncertainty - we may find ourselves questioning who we are, where we're going, or how to move forward. Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and better understand the patterns and experiences shaping your life. I provide psychotherapy for adults and older adults seeking deeper self-understanding, emotional relief, and meaningful change. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in curiosity rather than judgement.

Hi there, I'm Gina! I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over 16 years of experience. My focus is addressing anxiety, depression, job stress, codependency, and gender identity issues. I work with women, LGBTQ+, older adults with depression, working professionals, and college/graduate students. My formal training is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I find that adjunctive mindfulness and other eastern Psychology principles can be quite powerful as well. My primary goal is that you feel heard, seen, and respected by me. At the same time, we will sharpen your coping skills and get you feeling better.

My name is Lilit Shalunts, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, understood, and not judged. Many people come to therapy emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand. Here, you don’t have to have everything figured out. We take the time to slow down and understand what’s really happening for you, together.

Maybe you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by big emotions, stuck in patterns that don’t make sense, or unsure how to support your child through something hard. Whether you’re a young adult navigating growing pressures, a teen trying to make sense of your world, or a parent holding more than your share, it can feel like no one really gets it. I’ve been there too—in the messy, complicated parts of life where just having someone truly listen can make all the difference.

Does insurance cover therapy, prescriptions and other behavioral health services?
In general, yes. Laws in the U.S. require insurers to cover essential behavioral health care at the same level as other health care services. Most health plans require a medical diagnosis and treatments that are evidence based and medically essential. This means that life coaching and alternative therapies are not covered, nor is therapy without a diagnosis. Call the number on the back or your insurance card or visit your insurance company's website to review your Summary of Benefits. If you have insurance through your employer, your Human Resources department may also be able to answer questions.

How much does therapy cost with insurance?
The cost of therapy depends on your region, how much training and experience your therapist has, and the type of treatment. The rate for talk therapy generally falls between $100 and $250. For a client seeing an in-network provider, the cost of therapy is often similar to the cost of other health care services. Clients pay co-pays and may need to satisfy a plan’s deductible before benefits kick in.

What is the difference between In-Network and Out-of-Network insurance coverage?
An in-network provider has contracted with an insurer to get paid directly for services, and to accept the insurer’s rate of compensation. Clients are responsible for deductibles and copays. If a therapist is out of network, that means that the client pays the therapist directly for services at the therapist’s regular fee. Out-of-Network providers often give clients a receipt so that they can file for partial reimbursement with their insurance company.

Is it difficult to find an In-Network therapist?
It is not unusual for therapists to limit the number of insurance patients in their practice, so it’s important to check in-network availability when you schedule your first appointment. In regions and times where therapy is in high demand it may take longer to get scheduled with an in-network therapist.

What is the difference between HMO and PPO insurance plans?
HMO health plans only cover in-network services, there is no reimbursement for out-of-network providers. PPO plans often cover both in- and out-of-network services, though the client may pay more for out-of-network services.

What is a Superbill?
A superbill is a receipt for therapy services. It provides all the information required by insurance companies to reimburse you for out-of-network services, including the diagnostic codes for your care, the amount paid, and the dates and duration of care.

Does insurance cover Online therapy?
Many therapists who shifted their practice to online therapy during the pandemic have kept that arrangement. And most insurers continue to cover telehealth services, with a few exceptions. Preventive care (such as an annual depression screening) is often required to be in-person to be covered, and some states require prescribers of controlled substances to see those patients in person.

Does insurance cover Group therapy?
Many insurance plans provide coverage for group therapy provided there is a medical diagnosis for group members, but there are some noteworthy exceptions. For example, Medicare does not always cover group therapy. Group therapy tends to cost less than individual therapy.

Does insurance cover Couples therapy?
Most insurance companies do not cover the cost of couples therapy because there is no medical diagnosis or medically necessary treatment. However, a few plans will offer a limited benefit, so it is still worth checking with your insurance company. Sometimes therapy is covered for a couple when one person has a diagnosis and another family member joins them for joint therapy, but it is considered therapy for the medical condition that includes a family member as a listener or helper, not couples counseling. Without insurance, most clients pay between $100-300 per 60-90 min session for couples therapy. Often clients can find classes or workshops that make it more affordable to work on their relationship. And some employers offer benefit plans that help defray the cost of couples therapy. Learn more about Insurance Coverage and Finding Affordable Therapy
