Hi there, I'm Blake, a licensed clinical social worker. I've helped people with many issues like anxiety, depression, personality disorders, grief, divorce, severe mental diagnoses, and many more. I am trained in many different therapies and tailor a plan to each patient, rather than tailoring a patient to a plan. In my view, people used to mostly lived in close-knit communities, which has eroded with the advances in transportation and technology. Most people have lost the social support our forebearers had. Mental Health Professionals have taken on this role and are an excellent resource to improve your well-being.

Therapy, to me, is the process of joining. It is my ethos that I, as a therapist, am a human who sits with another human to see and hear them for who they really are: no judgment, no bias, just joining. My goal is to “get you” where you are at. I seek to affirm, understand, and truly see folks. I utilize holistic, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive therapies to be a partner in folks’ journeys toward wholeness.

I bring experience, curiosity, and creativity to our sessions and I am continually pursuing training in modalities that yield positive results. I have experienced how being in therapy with someone you trust and who authentically cares about you can be one of the best ways to grow, change, and become more fully and joyfully YOU.

I have over 30 years experience counseling children and adolescents. I have always had a passion to help people and my interests and experience as a therapist have led me to working with children and trauma. When a person is very upset, their brain cannot process information as it does ordinarily. Highly emotionally charged experiences become ‘frozen in time’ and are not processed in the usual way. My goal is to help reprocess those events to a resolution that is life-affirming and strength-building.

I'm Candice. I offer integrative and affirming care for individuals & partners. I have a special interest in supporting couples and multi-partnerships in moving through complexities such as loving a partner through navigating PTSD, healing after mutually experienced trauma, repair after broken agreements, expansive relationship restructuring, LGBTQ+/Poly family planning, infertility, chronic illness, and inter-abled relationships. My goal is to support you in crafting the structure, dynamic and connections that meet your unique needs and fit the entirety of who you are, and who you are growing to be both individually and together.

We are accepting new clients. Are you feeling anxious or depressed? Are you unsure how to get the life you want? Are you the parent of a child or teen and you can see that they are struggling? Sometimes negative thinking, anxious thoughts, unhealthy relationship patterns, previous traumas, (or something else) holds us back from reaching our true potential. Besides individual sessions, couples work sessions and Group Work, I also train clinicians in awareness based somatic psychotherapy. I also, hold two types of weekly groups that are ongoing, although they are open to new people from time time.
