Hello, so happy to have you here. With my "human first, therapist second" mindset, I hope that clients will know and feel that no matter who they are, what experiences they have gone through, or what they look like, they are deserving of love. I am particularly sensitive to the needs of adults who have experienced trauma and stigmatization. I believe that individuals have the power to make the changes necessary to better themselves, and the role of a therapist is to assist them in better understanding, coping with, and processing emotions and memories tied to those traumatic experiences.

Life is challenging. People are complex. Mind, body, behavior, spirt, and relationships are all connected and so effect each other. When part of us grows, other parts grow as well. When part of us is hurt, other parts hurt as well.

Beginning therapy—whether it’s your first time or you’re returning—can feel both hopeful and a little intimidating. I strive to create a space where you feel at ease from the start, supported as you take this important step for yourself. I have experience working with individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents, parents, and anger management. I am especially passionate about working with parents, postpartum parents (both mothers and fathers), as well as anyone experiencing life transitions.

Something shifted — and you're not sure when it happened. Maybe anxiety crept in so gradually that avoidance became your default, or sleep became something you negotiate instead of expect. Maybe you've carried trauma long enough that it feels like part of who you are. Or you keep hitting the same wall: same reactions, same stuck feelings, same exhaustion from trying to hold it all together. You want to feel lighter, clearer, more like yourself again — but you're not sure where to start. That's exactly where we begin. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use who are ready for something to change.

Have you ever felt that life has to be okay all the time? Change is a normal part of life that we do not always know how to navigate. Therapy can be the safe space needed to start your journey towards processing these emotions and exploring your personal goals.

Life can be wonderful & harmonious, & it can also be complicated. Often times, we go through life learning to hide parts of ourselves that have felt criticism, fear & other difficult emotions (rejection, hurt, etc.). We learn to ignore those difficult parts of ourselves due to shame & guilt, which can lead to sadness, worry, low self-esteem, trauma, and so on. These emotions & hurts can also affect the relationships around us (romantic, friendships, work, etc.), causing deeper pain & rejection. We notice our emotions, mind, & body’s reaction to situations that cause these parts to resurface & then struggle to cope.
