As a bilingual (English/Arabic) Licensed Clinical Psychologist, I am deeply committed to helping individuals find meaning, resilience, and hope during life’s most challenging moments. I believe that what is visible on the surface often represents only a small portion of a person’s inner experience. Many individuals carry profound emotions, pain, and struggles that remain unseen and unheard. Healing begins when those experiences are met with genuine empathy, curiosity, and attentive, compassionate listening in a safe and supportive space.

As a mental health provider, I am driven to provide quality care for patients. I hope my previous knowledge and experience, along with my desire to learn and grow, can help people meet their treatment goals. I enjoy meeting clients where they are in life, building rapport, and providing support. I hope to help patients bolster insight and awareness along with skills building “homework” to help enhance the therapeutic experience. My main approaches derive from DBT, CBT, and psychodynamic theories. I enjoy working with many populations and communities.

The impact that we can make in an individual's or family's life, such as seeing them interacting in a positive manner, becoming resilient, and having better, healthier relationships with others. I enjoy working with families, infants, children, couples and adults who feel ready to make changes in their lives. I am a clinician that is there to support and guide clients through the challenges that life brings and the healing process. It is like driving a car, I am there to the co-pilot; listen, provide a supportive environment, provide the tools and guidance through the journey.

Let’s be honest, life is often a struggle. We go through hardships in our relationships, at work, school, home, and within ourselves. Some experience depression, anxiety or trauma, while others struggle to understand or accept who they are. That being said, life is also amazing and can be full of beautiful moments and experiences. The difficulty lies when our struggles get in the way of being able to enjoy those good moments. My hope as your therapist is to help you manage and overcome whatever struggles you may be experiencing, and to allow you to enjoy the beauty in life again.

Mental health is daunting. Facing unhealthy habits and past traumas are hard enough on their own, let alone adding the burden of finding a therapist, taking time off work, and driving through traffic to sit on an uncomfortable couch in a small office. That’s where Connected Care comes in.
