I'm certified in EMDR, trained in Brainspotting, IFS, certified in CBT and DBT Clients often come in for: Trauma & unresolved childhood experiences, chronic anxiety and overthinking, burnout, high-functioning stress, adjustment to college, motherhood, career or relationship transitions, and OCD.
You look high-functioning-but inside, your nervous system is exhausted. You manage work, school, relationships and responsibilities. You show up, push through, but anxiety runs quietly in the background. Old trauma still lives in your body. You overthink, over perform, and rarely slow down. I specialize in working with high-achieving clients & college-age young adults navigating trauma, anxiety, stress and major life transitions. Many of my clients appear "fine"on the outside but feel overwhelmed internally. With over 20 years of clinical experience, I'll help your nervous system process what talk therapy alone cannot fully resolve.

It feels like you and your partner are stuck in a cycle, having the same arguments on repeat. Sometimes, you can’t even remember how the fight started. You wish there were a way to instantly fix the communication between you, to go back to when talking was easy and just being around each other felt good. You miss the laughter and the closeness you used to share. If this rings true, couples therapy might be right for you.

Lately, you’ve been reacting in ways that don’t feel like you. Your snapping faster, overthinking everything, struggling to relax even when you get a moment. You keep telling yourself you should be able to handle this, but something feels off. Whether you’re pregnant, postpartum, or deep in motherhood, things feel louder, harder, and more constant than they used to. You’re still showing up, but quietly wondering, "what is happening to me?" I help moms in this exact place slow things down, make sense of what’s underneath, and start feeling steady again.

I weave together my clinical training including EMDR, BrainSpotting, IFS (IFS Informed) and somatic therapies with approaches including breath work to help you reach your goals.
Are you struggling with past traumas, anxiety, depression, or just feel disconnected in your life? Do you feel sometimes like you are "too much" or feel misunderstood in your relationships? If you have experienced trauma, traditional talk therapy is often not enough to create lasting change. A holistic, integrated approach allows you to tap into the body's innate wisdom. I assist individuals and couples in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and loss, self-esteem, relationship challenges, sexuality, boundaries, spiritual and existential questions.

I am licensed in CA, AZ and MN and can provide IN-PERSON in Minneapolis or Telehealth in all 3 States. Who doesn't want freedom in all aspects of life? I believe that true freedom comes from transformation of self from the inside out. We are not on this planet to struggle, rather to find the courage to let our light shine. If you feel stuck in your relationships, career or family; if inner peace and contentment elude you; if you feel lost and overwhelmed but aren’t sure why; if you feel that others got the instructions on how to do life but you missed the memo, perhaps it is time for a change. Life is short. You are worth this.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.

Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.

How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.

How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
