Are you a high-achieving individual who looks like you have it all together, but inside you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck? Many of my clients are women navigating perfectionism, self-doubt, and the weight of constant expectations, often during major life changes. I specialize in supporting teens and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and the pressure to ‘do it all.’ I see clients in-person in the South Bay and virtually across California, offering a compassionate space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

You feel stuck—like you’re not where you want to be in life. Your outlook feels dull, and you can’t seem to find your spark. You might be going through the motions, feeling disconnected from others and from yourself. Maybe you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or the pain of loss or change. For many people, feeling stuck is part of grieving—whether it’s for a person, a relationship, or the life you imagined. You’re longing for clarity, connection, and a way forward that feels authentic and true to you.

I work with men who feel stuck in cycles of anger or reactivity, and want to understand what’s underneath it. I also work with anxious women who find themselves overextending, overthinking, or overwhelmed in their closest relationships. If you’re exhausted by self-sabotaging, people-pleasing, walking on eggshells, or second-guessing your needs - let’s slow it down and sort it out. It can feel really good to finally get help, and yet hard to accept that you deserve it. Wherever you are in that process - ready, reluctant, or somewhere in between - I’ll meet you there.

Beginning therapy is a positive step towards changing the way life is experienced. Someone may have challenges in relationships, may have experienced trauma, may not feel a sense of purpose, may feel sadness or fear. It is healing to be seen, heard and accepted and this is what I offer. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust and safety. Working with clients to explore thoughts, feelings and life experiences paves the way for healing, growth and a chance to live life more authentically. Self-compassion and vulnerability can lead to more connection with oneself and others while feeling less alone in the world.

Many of us have experienced stressful life events. I believe that we have the power to heal ourselves and at times we just need some extra support in doing so. I come from a wholistic approach addressing the mind-body connection. With the combination of EMDR Therapy, Somatic practices, Mindfulness skills and Attachment-Focused Therapy I help clients overcome symptoms of stressful life events or traumas and achieve greater self-awareness, empowerment and peace of mind. Traumatic material can cause blockages or an imbalance in the nervous system; leading towards feelings of anxiety, depression or despair.

I work with adults facing challenges related to OCD, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, that cause life stress. They feel overwhelmed and seek clarity and empowerment. Their primary need is compassionate, non-judgmental support in a safe space to share their thoughts and experience. Their goals include gaining insight, developing coping strategies, and enhancing their overall quality of life. They want to feel more freedom from their symptoms and get back to doing what they value most. Ultimately, they seek a therapeutic partnership that nurtures support and resilience, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth.

Female Therapists

Does it matter what gender my therapist is?

In general, there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or because they feel more comfortable with a therapist of their own gender due to shared life experiences or perspectives. Considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender may matter or improve their therapeutic experience. The most important consideration is that a client is able to build a trusting relationship with their therapist.

Should I see a female therapist?

Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist. For women, this could be because they believe that they will be able to better connect with a woman, and that a female therapist will be able to relate to their specific challenges and personal issues. It may be particularly beneficial for women to see a female therapist, for example, for gender-specific issues, such as sexism in the workplace, relationship issues, and gender roles. The most important factor in therapy is the client-therapist connection, and a therapist's gender as well as many other factors may play an important role in this.

Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?

Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?

It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
