Are you feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, or struggling with self-esteem? You're not alone, and I'm here to help. With over 30 years of experience as a Clinical Psychotherapist, I offer a compassionate and personalized approach to therapy that fits you. I understand that everyone’s journey is different, which is why I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I work with you to uncover and release the subconscious beliefs that may be holding you back—beliefs like "I'm not good enough" or "I don't have what it takes."

You are the one who holds it all together. Capable, driven, the person everyone leans on. Somewhere along the way you learned that being needed was safer than being known, that performance earned the love that presence did not. It worked. You built a life that looks like proof you made it. Yet underneath, you feel strangely unreal, disconnected from your own body, going through the motions of a life that should feel like yours. At Holistic Trauma Therapy, we help you find your way back to the self beneath the performance.

I draw upon various therapeutic orientations especially from Depth Psychology, Object Relations and Jungian therapy.
As a psychotherapist, I use a holistic approach that blends clinical research with Eastern wisdom. I have trained extensively for a decade with renowned Psychiatrist, Dr. Jeffery M. Schwartz in his Four Step Method, which combines Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy with the Buddhist principle of Mindfulness. Although, the Four Steps was originally created to treat OCD, my recent collaboration in the advancement of the Four Steps has shown that it is also successful for various circumstances including anxiety, depression, phobias, addiction, and eating disorders. My work is highlighted in Dr. Jeffrey M. Schwartz's new book, "You Are Not Your Brain".

I integrate psychodynamic, psychoanalytic, and Jungian approaches with evidence-based techniques tailored to your goals.
I specialize in helping sensitive, deep-thinking individuals heal from trauma, navigate anxiety, explore identity questions, and work through complex relationship and attachment dynamics. Many of the people I work with appear capable and composed on the outside and are used to handling a great deal on their own, yet feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. I offer collaborative, depth-oriented therapy and EMDR that is trauma-informed, intentionally paced, and designed to support meaningful, sustainable change.

I used Jungian analysis as a basis for my case conceptualization.
You may appear capable, accomplished, and composed while privately feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or unable to quiet your mind. Perhaps you are successful yet have a persistent sense that you are not functioning as well as others believe. I work with high-functioning adults who are insightful and motivated but continue to feel stuck in patterns they cannot simply think their way out of. You may understand why you react the way you do and still find yourself becoming anxious, shutting down, overthinking, procrastinating, losing focus, becoming emotionally flooded, or repeating the same painful relationship dynamics.

Jungian Therapists
How does Jungian therapy work?
Jungian therapy, also called analytical psychology, focuses on a patient’s inner experiences and unconscious mind. Exploring a person’s unconscious mind can be achieved through several means, including the analysis of memories and dreams, and through physical exercises, such as art, dance, and word association.

How long does Jungian therapy last?
Jungian therapy is an intensive treatment type. Because its goal is to understand a person as a whole, including the unconscious aspects of them, treatment can range from months to years. Since patients learn the theory behind Jungian therapy during treatment, they can also practice its tenets throughout life after therapy sessions have completed.

Is Jungian therapy effective?
According to studies, many patients find success with Jungian therapy, and the century-old treatment has a devoted following. Researchers note that the therapy is particularly useful in improving relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Improvements in problem areas seem to continue even after the end of Jungian therapy, as people are able to continue working on themselves using the tools they’ve learned during the treatment.

Is Jungian therapy evidence-based?
Jungian therapy is theory-based, derived from the theories of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist often called one of the fathers of psychology, along with Sigmund Freud. Jung developed his theories from observing the problems of patients, and developed many theories of how the mind works. Subsequent psychological research has determined that Jungian therapy can lead to significant improvement in most patients.
