Brainspotting is another cutting-edge technique that creates rapid, organic, deep brain/body healing.
You seem fine on the outside, but inside you feel you are not good enough, a failure, never enough. You want to be able to go through the day without feeling anxious, overwhelmed, depressed or all on your own. You're your own worst critic. You don't want to need alcohol or pot or comfort food to cope. You want to be able to handle your emotions better. You're wondering if life will ever get better, or if this is as good as it gets. Deep down, you feel guilty or ashamed. Social events may be difficult for you. Maybe you've been through a trauma (abuse, car accident, relationship breakup, etc.) and are having trouble moving on.

Are you feeling overwhelmed with all the changes in your life? Maybe you are postpartum and overwhelmed, crying more than you thought you would, or feeling like you’ve lost yourself. Maybe parenting—this thing you thought would come naturally—feels impossibly hard, lonely, or triggering. Maybe the spark has left your marriage and you've started having an affair, or you are feeling upside down having just discovered your partner is having an affair. Whatever you're going through, you feel isolated—like there’s no one to turn to, no one to confide in. Your mind is flooded with racing thoughts, and it’s exhausting.

Using EMDR, Brainspotting, somatic and mindfulness-based practices, inner-child work, and attachment-focused therapy, we go at your pace — blending deeper processing with practical tools to help you feel more regulated, empowered, and connected.
Hi, I'm Zoe. I’m a trauma-informed, relational therapist who helps people reconnect with themselves in honest, grounded, and compassionate ways. My work centers the belief that healing happens when we feel safe enough to explore our inner world - our thoughts, beliefs, patterns. I'm a good fit for people who want to understand themselves more deeply; struggle with boundaries, relationships, or people-pleasing; feel disconnected from their bodies or emotions; grew up without consistent emotional support; want to heal long-standing patterns and show up more authentically.

I specialize in trauma-focused therapy for adults and integrate EMDR, Brainspotting, and IFS-informed work to help clients process trauma, regulate their nervous system, and create meaningful, lasting change.
You may feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or the impact of past experiences, even while functioning well in your daily life. Many of the clients I work with are thoughtful, high-functioning adults who feel emotionally stuck, on edge, or disconnected and want deeper healing rather than short-term coping strategies.

Women who struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and many other emotionally draining conditions just wish they had someone to talk to who will listen without judgment. You may have experienced a traumatic break-up or even a trail of brokenness. You may have experienced child abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, or abandonment. You may have grown up with a family member with an addiction, watched parental violence, or had a partner with an addiction. At this point in your life you need assurance things can change, you want answers to why you ended up in the same relationships, and you need the coping skills needed to get past the past.

Most people come to me because talking hasn’t been enough. They’re tired of overthinking, tired of feeling like something’s off, and they want to actually feel different—not just understand things better. I use hypnotherapy and Brainspotting to work with the deeper parts of the mind where real change happens. This isn’t about quick fixes or reliving trauma—it’s about helping your system finally let go of what it’s been holding onto. I keep things honest, direct, and grounded. If that’s what you’re looking for, we’ll probably work well together.

We may incorporate Brainspotting, which allows access to deep, often unconscious material stored in the body and brain, Attachment-based work to gently explore how early relationships shape current patterns, Polyvagal informed therapy, Parts-work, like Inner Child or IFS-inspired models, and Somatic tracking and resourcing to help reconnect and build capacity for regulation and presence.
When we start working together, we’ll take time to really understand what’s been weighing on you, what keeps getting in the way and what you’re hoping for in your life. From there, we’ll create a plan that feels clear, doable and genuinely supportive. I pay close attention to the survival strategies you’ve built over time—often ones that once protected you but now feel limiting—and we’ll work together to gently shift the patterns that no longer serve you. My approach is relational, warm and grounded in trauma-informed and somatic work. So instead of staying only in conversation, we’ll slow down and notice what’s happening inside

I offer Brainspotting as part of my practice, a modality that has proven to be one of the most effective techniques to help locate, process, and release trauma, anxiety, and emotional pain.
I work somatically and relationally, and believe that when we are truly seen by another, something stirs within our wisest self that guides what we most need to know for healing. My approach is creating a safe space for this wisest self to navigate the way. My style is compassionate and direct; I believe transformation happens when we can see ourselves clearly, with curiosity, and without shame or judgment. I welcome all populations and specialize in work with couples/relationship therapy, mind/body healing, PTSD, anger, inner child, identity, and life transitions.

My work focuses on targeting ineffective behaviors, habits, and beliefs around anxiety and depression. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals. My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as both modalities help me and the client build a shared understanding of their reality, and allow us to work together to chart a path forward.

Does it sometimes feel like you’re stuck in the darkness and it’s hard to see where to go next? Do you want to increase a sense of connectedness in your life and relationships? If so, therapy can be a safe harbor from which to slow down and cast a light in your internal life and find ways to live more authentically. I have helped individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, complex trauma, life transitions and relational issues live life more fully. I also have experience helping immigrant and Latinx clients navigate challenges. I believe in each person's capacity to find the way to a brighter and more meaningful life.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.

Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.

How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.

How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
