I’m a psychotherapist who works best helping goal-oriented, high-functioning clients get results through deep, exploratory work while providing tools and techniques that help bring about change. I pay close attention to how past experiences, family dynamics, cultural context, and unconscious patterns influence your present life. My work is influenced by Jungian psychology. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and take a mind-body approach. I invite clients to not only explore their inner world but to embody that awareness in their daily lives, moving toward a more authentic, integrated, and meaningful way of being.

I support people from all backgrounds, especially multiracial, POC, Asian diaspora, LGBTQIA, non-binary, and neurodivergent folks (ADHD, autistic, or gifted). As a former engineer, I understand that world from the inside.

If you’re silently struggling with porn addiction, you already know the emotional toll: shame, secrecy, and the frustration of breaking promises to yourself. Whether it’s Pornhub, OnlyFans, cam sites, or endless scrolling, your partner may feel hurt and disconnected. You’re likely overwhelmed by guilt and stuck in patterns you swore you’d quit. Even if you’re not in a relationship, porn may still be affecting your confidence, focus, or ability to connect. It doesn’t have to stay this way. I help men who feel stuck in this cycle break free from compulsive porn use and rebuild intimacy without shame or judgment.

I want to help you open up new ways of thinking, feeling, behaving and experiencing life. I use an informal, collaborative approach. We set goals around what you'd like your life to look like. Then we lay down stepping stones to get you there, such as challenging self-limiting beliefs, building skills like inducing relaxation at will, or communicating such that people will actually listen to you.

I invite mind, body, and spirit into the work through narrative, somatic or body-inclusive, and trauma-informed approaches.
Welcome, I’m Becca. It can be vulnerable to share your inner world. I invite a collaborative process in which we cultivate curious, kind attention toward your experience. Together, we can attune to your story, try out new ways of relating to your journey, and get to know your goals and dreams. I believe in holding and co-creating a space where you have the freedom to experience all of who you are, without judgement, and make authentic choices. It is important to me to understand each person in the context of intersecting identities and environments, and modalities I draw from are holistic, relational, and systems-oriented.

Ready to get to the root of what’s been holding you back and reclaim your life? It’s painful to feel like a passenger in your own story—watching the same unconscious patterns repeat, no matter how hard you try to change. But it doesn’t have to stay this way. With genuine willingness and the right support, you can outgrow those patterns and begin living from a place of choice and authenticity. This work runs deep and can be challenging, but the freedom it brings—freedom from hiding, self-sabotage, and burdens that were never yours to carry—is worth every step.

I provide a safe healing sanctuary for trauma survivors and those wanting to improve their mental health. Processing feelings and memories, along with regulating your nervous system is hard work. Often when starting therapy, things may feel worse before they get better. Healing is not linear, so the journey ahead can be bumpy. I’m here to go through it with you. You don’t have to do it alone. Along the way, we’ll work together to develop skills to help you manage your nervous system and reconnect with yourself so that you can return to or perhaps discover your authentic self.

As Rumi wrote in "The Guest House": "This being human is a guest house. Every morning a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor. Welcome and entertain them all." In therapy, we learn to welcome all of life’s experiences, even the difficult ones. Together, we will explore these “visitors,” understanding them deeply so that healing and growth can unfold.

Somatic Therapists

How does somatic therapy work?

Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.

Is EMDR a somatic therapy?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.

Is somatic therapy evidence-based?

Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.

What is somatic trauma therapy?

Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
