In over 30 years of private practice, I have specialized in relationship dynamics, communication, ADD in adults, anxiety, depression, dependency/codependency, goal-setting, confidence coaching and self-esteem.
Do you resist counseling because of fear that you will be blamed for problems, afraid that you will cause your partner to feel blamed or to get angry? Instead of focusing on blame, we work on communication, feelings & needs by fostering understanding aiming toward solutions. While exploring each person's history coping style, encouraging insight into each partner's own part in the unproductive dynamic, I function as a neutral objective partner, not taking sides, helping you learn how to talk to each other without interruptions, insults or disdain & often assign homework to reinforce skills taught in-session to practice at home.

Pornography can significantly impact your life and relationships but there is hope for recovery. I’m not just a mental health professional, I’ve been “you” for many years. I understand firsthand the personal struggles in your life and committed relationships that come with uncontrollable pornography use. The endless stream of attractive women a few clicks away on Pornhub, Onlyfan or Social Media is hard to quit even with all your willpower and promise to quit for the sake of your relationship.

Reclaim your power; with a renewed sense of self, you can move forward into a life of confidence and success! That life , where you feel at ease and genuinely good about yourself, is just ahead of you.
You can't stop thinking about that moment... the words that were said and the way it made you feel. Whether it was years ago or yesterday, it still feels fresh. Maybe it was a comment your mother made or the words of an Ex. Either way, it stung, and it won't stop ringing in your ears. Why can't you get it out of your head? You've tried ignoring it, pushing it down, screaming at it and nothing has worked. It continues to creep in day in and day out. Chipping away at your self-esteem & self-worth. Affecting so much of your life and your ability to trust. You don't just want relief, you need it. You need to find a way to truly move on.

Sometimes we all find ourselves feeling stuck or struggling in some way. Feelings of anxiety, depression, overwhelm or burnout are part of the human experience. For some people, it's a season of life or life circumstance or perhaps something that's been persisting for some time. Nevertheless, it doesn't mean you have to walk the path alone. As a therapist, my goal is to help clients find their way back to a healthier, thriving and content space.

Each of us go through different seasons in our life where change can happen unexpectedly. At times there can be so much pressure to be successful personally and professionally and sometimes it can be challenging to be our authentic selves. Past or present circumstances can leave us feeling stuck, confused, fearful or hopeless. Those feelings are valid and it is important that they are heard and understood. I am a strong believer in the power of therapy where an individual can truly be their honest self. We all deserve a safe place to be open about our history, our emotions, and our dreams and I am here to offer that space.

If you’re reading this, you’re having some sort of trouble. I help good people get through tough times. There are many ways to do counseling. You can think of me as a life coach who offers principles to help you solve personal and relational problems. And /or, I can be your therapist to help you process a history of hurts and help you get on with your life . I work with couples and individuals (children, teens and adults) in an atmosphere that is casual and relaxed. I use language and tools you can use now. No psychobabble. If we connect we're likely to do some good work. So I'm ready when you are.

Life Coaching Therapists

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
