You’re functioning well on the outside, but internally something feels off—and you can’t quite explain why or how to get out of it. You may find yourself overthinking, second-guessing, or repeating patterns that don’t make sense, even when you know what to do. I work with capable, thoughtful adults who feel stuck in these ways. Together, we focus on understanding what’s driving these patterns so you can respond differently, make clearer decisions, and move forward in a more intentional and aligned way.

I understand how challenging it is to come to therapy and speak of subjects that can bring about fear, anxiety and feelings of being judged. Therapy is the safest of environments to bring up topics that have brought about great pain or arrest in one’s life. My hope for you is that therapy becomes a useful tool to transform your life into how you envision it to be. Life is too short not to be lived out to its fullest potential. By working with you, I hope to collaborate in a transformation process where life goals come to fruition.

Feeling Lost? Wondering, “Where do I go from here?” My clients are individuals navigating life after toxic relationships, major transitions, or motherhood who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, and stuck in patterns like people-pleasing, overthinking, and self-doubt. They often say, “I don’t feel like myself” or “I keep ending up in the same situations.” We use a trauma-informed, DBT-based approach to help you regulate emotions, set boundaries, rebuild self-trust, and break unhealthy cycles—so you can feel grounded, confident, and like yourself again.

I have worked in various mental health settings for over 20 years, and have found that a warm, compassionate, direct, and well-boundaried approach works best in the narcissistic world we're living in.
Do you feel you have it all/have enough, but do not feel satisfied, content, happy, or at peace? Do you want to find meaning and purpose in your life? Do you want to examine the root causes of your emotional suffering instead of putting a bandaid on your symptoms? If so, I invite you to schedule a 20-minute consultation with me to begin exploring your healing and transformation. I can help you to learn to trust yourself, discern what you have and don't have control/responsibility over, and find your center/ true north, which you can utilize to make decisions more effectively and flow through life's ups and downs with more ease.

I work with children, teens, couples, and families navigating the tension between who they are and who they've been taught to be. Children often seem mature while carrying quiet worry, teens who might be holding identity questions and overwhelm. Couples and caregivers may find themselves stuck in patterns that once protected them but now create distance within their family. I offer depth-oriented work, including play therapy for children, to understand these patterns and build relationships that feel steady and connected.

Therapy is not about helping you. It's about helping you to help yourself. It's about empowerment. At times, we all feel disempowered by life, by loss, by feelings of anxiety and depression, etc. Life is a journey, and sometimes it is difficult to move forward. If you are reading this, maybe I am meant to be a part of your journey and you are meant to be a part of mine. Wherever you are in your journey, whatever difficulty you are facing, there are "...plans to give you a hope and a future (Jer 29:11)."

My particular areas of focus include: attachment therapy, helping children and their parents deal with co-parenting, divorce and/or blended families; healing from narcissistic abuse in parental/romantic relationships; stabilizing in recovery from alcohol and other substances.
The therapeutic process has the ability to transform. I am living proof of this. At my lowest point, I was anxious, depressed, suicidal, and trapped in addictions. With the help of a skilled therapist, I was able to come out of this darkness - inspiring me to leave the business world in order to help others who are suffering. I believe that everyone deserves a fighting chance to overcome trauma and abuse and live a rich, full, and satisfying life. I believe that we can change and grow at any time in our lives. I believe in the beauty, resiliency, and strength of the human spirit. I believe that we are all worthy and capable of love.

I also work closely with these who are victims of narcissistic abuse.
Everyone is unique. Your thoughts, feelings and needs are shaped by your own background, family history, past interpersonal encounters and other significant events, including early child trauma. Psychotherapy is an emotional process. As we discuss your concerns, it will surface unexamined parts of your life of which you may not be aware or want to experience. My central role as your therapist is to help you talk about and understand more fully these unexamined thoughts, feelings, and needs in the context of your past, develop greater tolerance and acceptance of them, and to bring changes to your current situation.

Life can get complicated and there is no handbook on how to handle things like depression, anxiety, addiction and relationship problems. It is important to know two things: 1. you are not alone, 2. challenges are always opportunities to grow and change your life. You are probably here because it's time to "do something different." Let us help guide you through this journey!

I specialize in helping people heal from narcissistic abuse and toxic relationships, as well as the deep overwhelm that often comes with them.
Reaching out for support isn’t easy, it takes courage, especially when you're already feeling worn down. But the fact that you're here means something inside you is ready for change. Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure of yourself. Maybe you're carrying pain from trauma, anxiety, or relationship struggles. I want you to know you're not alone. In the work we do together, we can begin to gently reconnect with the parts of you that feel lost or hidden. With time, you can start to feel more like yourself again, more at ease, more whole, and more able to move through life with clarity, strength, and peace.

As a child I was always very sensitive and curious about the world that surrounded me. It came natural to help people and I knew that I wanted to give back to the world at large. Just like you I suffered from some childhood wounds. My parents did the best they could with the tools they had. But due to their struggles I became a very codependent child wanting to save and fix my parents to simply gain the love I desired. Later on I would be able to understand these cycles and break many of the patterns I lived out. Including people pleasing, losing myself in toxic relationships and not fully loving that little girl inside of me.

Narcissistic Personality (NPD) Therapists
What type of therapy is best for narcissistic personality disorder?
Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is best treated with talk therapy, which could involve cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, schema therapy, gestalt therapy, or similar approaches. A therapist will help a patient uncover the feelings that may drive their behavior and discover how to engage with themselves and those around them with greater empathy and understanding, fewer demands, and less defensiveness, with the goal of developing a more authentic sense of self that enables healthier relationships.

How do therapists treat NPD?
By developing a strong therapeutic relationship, and continually focusing patients on relationships, community, and connection, a therapist, through talk therapy, may be able to help someone with NPD change. In sessions, a therapist will help an individual achieve relief from their current stressors, including the treatment of co-occurring conditions such as anxiety or depression. A therapist may also help an individual to recognize unhealthy coping mechanisms, learn new ways of interacting with others, and eventually become able to feel and display empathy.

Can a narcissist be cured with therapy?
Therapy can be effective. After a serious setback or great loss, someone with NPD may be forced to recognize that they are not immune to life’s challenges. That can spur feelings of melancholy and depression that lead them to seek professional help. Once an individual decides to seek help, they have already taken a step that the majority of those with NPD never will. Still, people with NPD often quit therapy as they naturally resist feeling vulnerable, being challenged, or admitting to flaws.

How can you get narcissistic personality disorder treatment for someone?
It is notoriously difficult to convince someone with NPD to seek help. With their feelings of superiority, they may be unlikely to recognize or acknowledge that they have a problem, or that their problem is narcissism. Sometimes, they are aware that they are arrogant and that others resent them but they don’t see it as a problem because they are convinced of their superiority. People with NPD have trouble maintaining relationships, but family members and others who do feel close to them, and whose presence they value, may be able to encourage them to seek therapy.
