I’m a bilingual Spanish-speaking therapist who supports clients using Christian counseling, DBT skills, and narrative therapy.
In our first session, I’ll listen to your story and what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, and I’ll share how I can support you. It’s a relaxed, respectful conversation designed to help you feel safe, seen, and understood. You’ll leave with a sense of clarity about the process and what to expect moving forward.

My approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy ( DBT), and mindfulness-based practices.
Anxiety, depression, and PTSD can quietly shape how you relate to yourself and others, often leaving you feeling disconnected or unsure how to move forward. As a first-generation Latina, I’ve always felt a strong pull to give back to my community and support meaningful change in people’s lives. I earned my MSW from Cal State LA in 2018, and I’m inspired by the strength and courage I witness as individuals navigate their mental health journeys. Care focuses on helping you deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships, and respond to challenges with greater clarity and compassion.

Something feels off and you can't quite name it. Maybe it's the anxiety that shows up without warning, tightening your chest before you even know why. Or the nagging sense that you're going through the motions, disconnected from yourself and the life you thought you'd be living by now. You might recognize the patterns: the self-doubt, the self-sabotage, the same loops playing out no matter how hard you try to break free. And you wonder why knowing about them isn't enough to change them. You're not broken. But you may be carrying more than you've had real support to process.

I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness-based approaches, and Motivational Interviewing to help you explore anxious thoughts, process painful experiences, and shift relational patterns with intention.
Anxiety can leave you overthinking conversations, questioning your role in relationships, or feeling unsettled during life transitions. I hold a Master’s in Counseling (MC) from Palo Alto University (2021), and my path into this field began with my own desire to better understand myself and the dynamics of relationships through personal therapy. That experience inspired a genuine commitment to sit with adults (18+) in vulnerable moments, and I remain continually inspired by clients and colleagues as I deepen the care I provide.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes that healing happens best in a space where you feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported. I don’t come to this work believing that life is easy or that growth happens without struggle—I’ve been through hard times myself, and those experiences shape the way I show up for my clients: with empathy, humility, and respect for how tough life can be.

My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy ( DBT), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing to meet you where you are and support meaningful change.
When worries pile up or sadness lingers, it can start to feel like you're constantly falling behind in your own life. Whether it's overwhelming emotions, past trauma, or persistent self-doubt, these struggles can make everyday moments feel heavier than they should. I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Redlands in 2019, and I help children (8+), teens, and adults navigate anxiety, depression, and trauma with care and clarity.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, and the Gottman Method for couples, while also integrating relational work inspired by Terry Real and Leslie Vernick.
Are you feeling stuck in your relationship, trying everything you can but ending up in the same painful patterns? Or are you worried about your teen, sensing something is off but not sure how to reach her? I work especially with women who are deeply invested in their relationships but feel emotionally exhausted, and teens who are struggling. When you are so close to the situation, it can be difficult to see clearly or know what will actually help. Therapy offers a space to slow down and understand what is happening, so you can move forward with a better sense of your next steps.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT) Therapists
Who is DBT for?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is designed for people who experience extreme emotional suffering because they lack the skills of emotion regulation and distress tolerance. The basic affliction can underlie a wide range of conditions, from borderline and other personality disorders to PTSD and treatment-resistant anxiety and depression. The therapy is helpful to those whose emotional reactivity is so intense it is disruptive to everyday functioning and leads to frequent crises.

Why do people need DBT?
The ability to regulate emotions is a core psychological skill that enables people to function in life and pay attention to the world outside themselves; it is consistently associated with well-being. DBT is designed to help people learn how to manage and regulate their emotions. Originally developed to treat people with borderline personality disorder whose extreme emotional suffering led to self-harming behavior and suicide attempts, the therapy is now applied to other conditions involving emotion dysregulation, particularly when other treatments have failed.

What happens in DBT?
Individuals meet weekly with their therapist to discuss their experiences relating to moods, behavior, and skills. Using checklists they maintain, they review emotional experiences and positive practices they engage in. The diaries help individuals discern what led up to a specific problem encountered, this is followed by discussion of the consequences of their actions. In addition, individuals may meet in class-like small groups to learn skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation and distress tolerance.

How long does DBT last?
Because it is intended to establish long-lasting behavioral change among those with persistent problems, DBT is designed to last six months to a year. DBT includes both weekly sessions of individual therapy and weekly skills-training sessions conducted in small groups. Studies of DBT have documented improvement within a year of treatment, particularly in controlling self-harmful behavior; nevertheless, individuals may require therapy for several years.
