I have maintained a private practice in Beverly Hills or West Hollywood for 30 years, and I am an Associate Clinical Professor in the UCLA Psychology Department. I have found it helpful to be eclectic in my theoretical orientation, depending upon the personality of the client, the issues being discussed, and the client's own history of what has and has not been helpful. I integrate cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and humanistic elements in my approach to each client, always attempting to provide a safe and respectful environment in which clients can grow.
