I use parts work ( IFS, Gestalt) and last discoveries on nervous system regulation (somatic, autonomic nervous system, memory reconsolidation) to help you move forward and gain agency in your life.
My approach is relational and somatic. While my work with clients is first informed by their past, I focus on learning skills to help change in the present moment. We will use mindfulness and body awareness tools, hypnosis and visualisation and role play. My work is grounded, direct, and playful.

I am a family systems psychotherapist working with individuals and families confronting complex mental health, behavioral, substance abuse and relational challenges that often break families apart.
Starting well in therapy means building trust and creating a path towards meeting your goals. For individuals we begin by getting clear on your goals and what currently stands in your way. With families we start by meeting together and getting to know one another. The focus is on supporting the whole family, not just the person who is most troubled.

I integrate nervous system regulation, parts work ( IFS), psychodynamic exploration, and mindfulness.
My work is for people who feel disconnected from their body, their spirit, or their truth- who have spent too long adapting, shrinking, or surviving instead of fully living. I am queer, South Asian therapist who specializes in working with deep feelers, highly sensitive people, and intuitives, often looking to break intergenerational cycles of trauma. I also work with neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, spiritual seekers, and perfectionists. Those navigating complex PTSD, attachment wounds, narcissistic relationships or parental dynamics, and a lack of safety in intimacy also gravitate towards my work.

My approach is heart-based; it is a fusion of experiential, somatic/body-oriented (releasing emotional pain which is stored in our bodies), gestalt, cognitive behavioral, EMDR, hypnosis, and internal family systems approaches.
Instead of focusing on talking about the problem, I will help you move through it and release the pain that keeps you stuck. After making the way for this clearing, I help you with empowering thoughts which will lead you in loving yourself more and others fully.

I specialize in helping folx struggling with anxiety or trauma, and am trained in EMDR, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, & IFS, approaches that can help reduce stress, feeling on edge, or feeling hypervigilant.
Does it feel as if your world is getting smaller and smaller or harder and harder? You’re noticing you’re not going out and about the way you used to … or would like to. There are decisions you’d like to make, but you only have energy for distractions like binging Netflix, scrolling on your phone, or mindless eating. You’re on edge a lot of the time. You yearn for serenity and fulfillment, but you’re not sure how to get there on your own. You’ve tried, and then end up giving up, and even feeling worse as a result.

Meet Our Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapists

My core approaches include depth psychology, mindfulness, somatic awareness, imaginal attunement, dreamwork, and Internal Family Systems ( IFS) therapy.
The reasons leading each of us into therapy are as unique as we are individually, though it usually begins with something that brings challenge or suffering. Even amid the uniqueness of our difficulties, however, there are common patterns that unite us in our humanity. Whatever it is that calls you to therapy, I will meet you in the middle—where your common humanity and utter uniqueness come together. I deeply trust we can work together to bring greater understanding to your process and support you not only in your healing, but also in the unfolding of your potential—indeed, the two go hand-in-hand.

I specialize in trauma healing through EMDR, IFS, DBT, EFT, and somatic therapy.
If you feel stuck in behaviors, symptoms, or relationships that aren’t serving you—or if it seems like something is always blocking you from moving forward—you’re not alone. You may know what you’ve been through, but still feel unsure how to truly heal from it. When time or talk therapy alone hasn’t helped, it might be time to go deeper.

I integrate Gestalt and IFS principles - among other things - which makes therapy somewhat experiential and unique to every client.
Whether there's resurfacing trauma or you're in the process of revisiting identities and beliefs due to life transitions (such as break up, grief, career change, moving, and acculturation challenges), therapy can be a healing space to process how all those disruptions are impacting your sense of Self, and mood. You may find yourself occupied with maintaining life rather than fully living it; we’ll sit through hard-to-answer questions and I’ll invite you to cultivate awareness around your feelings and circumstances.

If you are open to it, along the way, I may introduce a number of "alternative" modalities, for example, sound healing therapy for IFS (internal family systems, also called "parts work") or guided meditation for inner child work.
My practice is informed by the interconnectedness of all things, especially the relationship between mind, body, and spirit (or soul), and the interrelationships between beings. I am influenced by Western psychological theories, as well as holistic, ancestral, and indigenous wellness rituals from around the world. I specialize in grief and loss, particularly death and dying, and the emotional and spiritual work surrounding other significant transitions, rites of passage, and life cycles. This includes work around the end of life, pregnancy loss, traumatic birthing processes, and plant (or fungi) spirit medicine integration.

What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.
How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.
Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.
How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
