We are influenced by the families that we grow up in and our adult love relationships. These important relationships shape how we respond to the complexities and challenges in our lives and can sometimes leave us feeling lonely, frustrated, or disconnected from ourselves and those who are most important to us. Most of us want to feel connection, closeness, and security in our important relationships and sometimes we don't know the path to get there. Stronger, more secure relationships increase confidence, emotional security, and emotional well being in the face of life's stressors.
I use Emotionally Focused Therapy with individuals, couples, and families. EFT is an evidence based modality and is shown to be highly effective in decreasing conflict, improving relationship satisfaction as well as increasing feelings of closeness & connection. I especially enjoy working with neurodivergent clients.
I have completed advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and I love the work that I do.
