I am a Psychotherapist, Nutrition Therapist & Exercise Physiologist. As a psychodynamic, trauma-focused therapist, I can help you process past experiences in a safe environment - working with you to calm the unwanted noise that is anxiety. I can also help you address and resolve the depression that too often obscures our truest selves. Perhaps you’ve experienced a major upheaval or maybe you’re grappling with more subtle, disruptive changes to your day-to-day functioning. Either way, such shifts can be destabilizing, causing us to question core beliefs and ask: Am I even on the right path? New traumas may unfold, and older ones may awaken but we still have a very real need to feel grounded.

The fundamental skill that I share with psychotherapy clients is to listen deeply to their life experiences. From there, I use questions carefully to clarify my understanding of where they are in life. I work to help people understand that they are not broken or defective. As Carl Rogers said "The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." I accompany clients on a journey of self-exploration, and evolution. A more satisfying life is achieved via greater psychological skill and creating healthier behaviors. I specialize in working with people suffering from Childhood PTSD & narcissistic abuse.

Unconditional Positive Regard is something that we are all deserving of. A lot of times, life becomes all-consuming, and not only do we feel a lack of acceptance from others; but many of us internalize our experiences in a way that keeps us from feeling confident. Self-Actualization is a fancy way to say "I love myself and I trust myself". It takes a lot of courage to step into the realm of discomfort and as for support - but it's not out of our reach.

I am grateful for the opportunity to assist individuals and groups with a variety of needs and desirers. After spending 20 years in the corporate environment, I felt compelled to change myself and assist others with living and enjoying life in a meaningful way. I am blessed to have worked with thousands of different individuals with a multitude of diverse backgrounds, challenges, hardships and goals.
