For over 40 years I have sought to understand truth and wisdom. I've come to recognize the nature of suffering and each persons desire for release from suffering. I know that healing is a gentle unfolding, created with correct individual guidance, support and care. This assists each person's understanding of their personnel truth and authenticity, which leads a deeper inner awareness of true self, inner wisdom and to peaceful liberation.

Many of us wrestle to find hope in our lives, move forward, or just make it through the day. Depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and loss can take away motivation, causing struggle and suffering. This can change. Perhaps you're determining which life path to take or are dealing with past trauma, abuse, or painful memories. You don't have to carry this weight alone. I provide an unbiased, nonjudgmental space for adults to explore what is hindering them and overcome obstacles in healthy, ways.

I serve a diverse clientele and work really well with creatives, empaths, entrepreneurs, and the LGBTQ+ community. I typically treat anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use, and support clients with behavior change, life stage + transitions, identity + sexuality, relationships, and career issues. I am trauma-informed, apply queer, feminist, anti-oppressive, and body/sex-positive lenses, and incorporate harm reduction principles. I also offer clinical supervision.

My name is Vincent Lamont and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (Pennsylvania). Entering therapy can be a difficult decision for most people. I am committed to gently guiding my clients toward a place of relief from emotional distress and an enhanced sense of well-being. I am here to provide a safe space, and to help you work through whatever issue or conflict is troubling you.

I believe in a strength-based, holistic, and pragmatic approach to change that focuses on each client's unique needs; and I view life's challenges as opportunities to further growth and build a more meaningful life. In active collaboration with a client, my technique balances insight, exploration, and coping-skills development that helps clients affect real change in the present. I've trained and worked with a diverse range of people of all ages and issues including depression, anxiety, substance use, co-occurring mental health, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions (e.g., divorce, career changes, menopause).

Why were we taught algebra, but never taught about healthy relationships, delightful sex, grief, depression, or loving our bodies? Why do we fall into the same traps we fell into yesterday? Why do we go back to behaviors that we know are bad for us? I work with folks who feel stuck in painful cycles. I have special training in relationships, sex, and grief. Welcome to RHS, I hold a Master of Social Work Degree from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Currently specializing in Sex and Relationship Therapy, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, Family systems therapy, and a wide variety of mindfulness-based holistic clinical approaches. I am currently being supervised by Dr. Tony Reigle, PhD, LPC and Dr. Estefanía Simich Muñoz, PhD, LCPC, CST, CST-S, Patricia Rich LCSW, CST-S, CST. I work with women, men, 2SLGBTQ+, survivors of abuse, folks with HIV/AIDS, in the Kink/BDSM lifestyle, folks struggling with sexual function issues, and those in relationships struggling to build intimacy.

This work is about finding your own inner balance and resolution and feeling free to express your authenticity. I use my own mix of many theoretical and practice techniques in the service of your resolution, integration and wholeness, with special expertise in relationship counseling, spirituality and gender issues.
