Sometimes we start by treating stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, career, or LGBTQ+ and other identity issues, and over time turn to deeper issues about the life you want to create, your identity, and your values. I’m a humanistic counselor, which means I’ll never tell you what to do and I’ll always empower you to make the choice that’s best for you. I use a collaborative, gentle approach that helps you connect with your intuitive sense of self and your intrinsic motivation to grow and do difficult things.

I see counseling as a collaborative process designed to help you become aware of how you think, feel & behave, to help you overcome problems & live more fully. I believe that learning to see yourself & others with compassion and acceptance is a path to well-being & meaning. I have an engaging, experiential counseling style. I also lecture domestically & internationally on anger management, mindful eating, perfectionism & resilience. My approach to self-criticalness was validated by an independent research team. I'm on the Advisory Board of The Mindfulness Project (London, UK).
