I have extensive experience working with young adults, college students & couples in inpatient, and outpatient settings struggling with traumatic events in their lives, stress, adjustment and challenges that require more resilience, relationship issues, depression and anxiety. Sometimes unhelpful addictions were our way of coping and we need support to redirect. I am here for you and ready to help.

In active collaboration with a client, my technique balances insight, exploration, and coping-skills development that helps clients affect real change in the present. I've trained and worked with a diverse range of people of all ages and issues including depression, anxiety, substance use, co-occurring mental health, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions (e.g., divorce, career changes, menopause).

Hello and welcome. I am a Licensed and Board-Certified Therapist in Maryland and Pennsylvania with 10 years of professional work experience. I am a certified, as well as a lifelong, practitioner of meditation and yoga. My clinical experience comes from providing direct mental health and behavioral counseling for young children, teens, and adults with a variety of presenting issues including stress/anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship and family issues, trauma recovery, racialized and intergenerational trauma recovery, mood instability, ADHD and gender identity.

There are countless ways I like to describe my work, but I often think of therapy as similar to mountaineering: We tether to another person as we build trust and explore the natural landscape of our humanness. At times treacherous and scary; at times awe-inspiring and profound. The point is not to curate this expanse, but instead to build familiarity so that we can be more sure-footed as we walk through our lives with increasing skill... Why were we taught algebra, but never taught about healthy relationships, delightful sex, grief, depression, or loving our bodies? Why do we fall into the same traps we fell into yesterday? Why do we go back to behaviors that we know are bad for us? I work with folks who feel stuck in painful cycles. I have special training in relationships, sex, and grief. I’ll give you tools & hold you accountable. My specialties are relationships, anxiety, grief, men's issues, queer issues, compulsive masturbation, porn literacy, low desire, ED & teens.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has experience treating depression, anxiety and trauma. I work with children, teens and adults. I hope to foster an environment where you can feel safe and open to express your thoughts, feelings and experiences, and work on learning new and healthier ways to express and cope with your emotions and stressors. At this time I am not accepting new clients who require appointments after 4pm, and can only accept new clients who have day time availability. In my experience, inside every person there is a psychological center, like a ‘Light’ leading us to love, healing, joy and growth. In a deep place in each of us, it is always present, though sometimes hidden.
