Sometimes we start by treating stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, career, or LGBTQ+ and other identity issues, and over time turn to deeper issues about the life you want to create, your identity, and your values. I’m a humanistic counselor, which means I’ll never tell you what to do and I’ll always empower you to make the choice that’s best for you. I use a collaborative, gentle approach that helps you connect with your intuitive sense of self and your intrinsic motivation to grow and do difficult things.

I help people who are building and maintaining their families. I support people from their reproductive health journeys to navigating caregiver challenges with children ages 0-5. I’m experienced in supporting caregivers of multiples (twins, triplets, etc.), medically fragile children, processing whole-family traumatic experiences with young children, and caregiving-driven career pivots. I’ve previously worked in Biometrics Research, Community Mental Health, Tech Operations, and Education. I’m deeply committed to local community service.

After spending 20 years in the corporate environment, I felt compelled to change myself and assist others with living and enjoying life in a meaningful way. I am a Psychotherapist, Nutrition Therapist & Exercise Physiologist. With the Client/Therapist Relationship at CORE, I provide Individualized, Integrative Care: Eating Disorders, Trauma, Mood, Relationships, Transitions -acknowledging & encouraging growth of diverse values &/or needs, I use an Eclectic Therapeutic Approach –including Person-Centered, Mindfulness, Expressive (art, music, movement, writing), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, RO-DBT, Existential, Narrative, EMDR, Gestalt, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Nutrition Therapy –Intuitive Eating/HAES (Health at Any Size) & Medical Nutrition Therapy.

Greg was born and raised in Pittsburgh and graduated from Duquesne University with degrees in Psychology and Sociology, and Counseling. He is an experienced therapist and clinical supervisor with a background that ranges from teenagers to seniors, spanning both mental health and substance abuse. He has worked in foster care, drug & alcohol/recovery, and mental health settings. Greg uses a person-centered approach to help people through a wide variety of life events and struggles. He has facilitated groups on mental health, abuse, anger, healthy relationship skills, family issues, and works on an individual and family basis.
