I am a psychotherapist with forty-five years of experience, specializing in the treatment of individuals and families as they navigate life transitions. If you are a new parent, going through separation and divorce, transitioning to college, or bereaving the loss of a loved one, I can help you navigate complex stages of life in my office. We will work collaboratively in an interactive, supportive style.
I support adolescents and adults suffering with anxiety, stress, and depression, arming them with effective coping tools that can give them relief and help them to regain confidence. Understanding the triggers for these feelings is also an essential part of the process. My therapeutic approach includes cognitive-behavioral therapy, meditation, and mindfulness practice.
I created College with Confidence twenty years ago, to prepare high school students with mental health, disabilities, and other challenges for the college transition, and help their parents to effectively impact this process.
