One of the most important factors in the success of therapy is the creation of a safe, confidential space. In this setting an individual can express all the thoughts, feelings and beliefs which they often feel unable to share, for fear of judgement or disappointing others. Clients often relate a great sense of relief when they verbalize these difficult or confusing thoughts and find that they are supported and validated.
