A large part of my practice focuses on relationship problems with significant others, intimacy and sexuality, parenting to children and adolescents. I specialize in supporting families in crisis due to divorce, substance abuse or financial crisis.
My holistic method combines cognitive, psychodynamic and mindfulness perspectives. the approach is holistic and integrates the foundation for mental wellness: Healthy self esteem, supportive family and social connections, realistic career goals, self fulfillment and feeling that life is meaningful . Issues of life style, nutrition and exercising will be given attention.
I will help you become aware of a pattern of negative thinking that triggers distressing feeling and cause you to react instead of act. You will discover the connections between thoughts, emotions and behavior and their effect on relationships, and how to re program thoughts and gain effective coping tools.
