This group is designed to help adolescents ages 13 - 15 years of age develop social skills for their daily interactions. Some of the skills include: Learning to navigate social situations successfully, being able to effectively communicate with others, improving self esteem, having empathy towards peers, active listening skills, creating and maintaining relationships with others, and more! Do you struggle with anxiety and are always worrying and creating “what if scenarios” in your mind? Do you constantly have ruminating thoughts that keep you up at night? Do you feel like you are going through the motions of job stress, financial burdens and relationship struggles? Then you may be experiencing some of the classic symptoms of anxiety disorders that young adults experience. In the group each member will be able to learn coping mechanisms and feel supported by others dealing with similar anxiety issues that come with being an adult in today’s world.
