I have been practicing for 30 years with a focus on family relationship issues. I am a support to individuals who are looking to understand themselves better in an effort to be better in their relationships. I work with individuals, families and couples who feel stuck in patterns they recognize but feel powerless to change. Helping children and adolescents deal with the transitions they face related to school, friendships and social pressure while they are dealing with tremendous physical and emotional changes is an on going treatment focus in my practice.
I use an eclectic approach to treatment which includes systemic theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, insight oriented work and mindfulness while educating clients of the impact that their mental health has on their physical health and wellness. I have expertise and success in treating individuals who struggle with anxiety.
I collaborate with my clients to develop treatment goals to help them develop their best selves. I work to treat clients on all levels; mind, body and spirit. I am successful in treating clients who struggle with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and school/behavioral issues.
