I am a trauma focused therapist for individuals and families who have experienced single or multiple adverse events in childhood or adulthood, and intergenerational trauma. It isn't always easy to reach out for help after these experiences, in my role as a therapist I am committed to assist my clients in this courageous step toward their healing journey. I am currently accepting new clients who live in California for tele-therapy through live video conferencing.
I work from a client-centered approach to identify changes that are tailored to each person's situation and utilize interventions that develop insight, promote growth, strengthen interpersonal skills, and highlight strengths. I incorporate expressive arts, and mindfulness interventions. I am bilingual in Spanish, and bi-culturally identified as an immigrant.
I also provide psychological evaluations for immigration court, including U and T visa, VAWA/spousal abuse. I also conduct educational workshops to the community, including health care providers and attorneys on trauma informed care when working with immigrants and refugees.
