Marriage and relationship problems can be overwhelming and can leave you feeling fearful for your family and yourself. I have extensive training and experience in marriage/relationship counseling, and specialize in working with individuals and couples who want to improve their relationship circumstances. For relationships on the brink and in serious jeopardy, I recommend discernment counseling - a brief, time-limited process to help partners choose one of several definitive paths. We loosen gridlock, clarify and reality check options, and move forward in 4-5 sessions.
I strongly recommend that clients get relationship counseling before taking steps to divorce. I'm a mediator and divorce coach and as such, know the divorce process from the inside. I routinely collaborate with attorneys, financial planners, and child specialists to help keep families out of court.
