Hello! My name is Esperanza Smith. I have worked with clients experiencing concerns such as depression, anxiety, sexual orientation and identity, discovery of identity, relationships, confidence, and self-compassion. I like to utilize Person Centered ideals when approaching therapy while also using evidence-based treatment interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

She graduated from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Kami Imes (she/her) is a licensed independent social worker with a supervisory designation and a certified employee assistance professional. She earned her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Akron. Kami has a wide range of mental health experience including providing counseling for individuals and families in hospital, hospice, and outpatient settings. She has worked with adult clients on issues including but not limited mood disorders, adjustment disorders, life transitions, anxiety disorders and grief.

Juliane has a master’s degree from University of Kentucky and is a supervising licensed independent social worker with 25 years of experience. She has experience working with individuals, families and couples ranging from age 5 to 99 in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, homes, residential treatment facilities, outpatient community mental health and adolescent detention centers. Most recently Juliane has worked with people coping with major illness (particularly cancer).

Sarah Collingwood, M.A. Ed., LPCC-S is a licensed professional clinical counselor who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2012 from Kent State University. She completed her Master of Arts in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2016 at the University of Akron. Sarah has over 7 years of experience working with adults in residential, medical, crisis, office, and community correctional settings. Some of her specialty interests include depression and mood disorders, anxiety, self-esteem, substance use disorders, gambling addiction, and relationship concerns.

St. John the Baptist Recovery Outreach Center, a Ministry of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland, was established to aid personal struggling with addiction to drugs and alcohol. We collaborate extensively with other community agencies, hospitals, residential programs, and sober living to provide barrier removal and access to treatment services for clients seeking recovery. We take a holistic approach to treatment, combining both substance use and mental health services.
