Hey there! I'm Annie Bryner. As a clinician, I treat the whole person. As a sex therapist, I help my clients have a healthy, positive relationship with sex. I promise to make you comfortable about areas that have caused you discomfort. You are not flawed or broken. As a trauma therapist, it is important to me to understand what trauma you have experienced in your life that may be causing your depression, anxiety, anger, or pain. My main treatment modalities are Brainspotting and EMDR. With these therapies, even severe symptoms of PTSD can be treated and hope can be found.
I love to work with couples too! My trauma background helps me to pinpoint why you and your partner are reacting to each other the way that you are. My sex therapy training helps me to treat intimacy problems. I also practice attachment therapy, and will assess each of you to better understand your "attachment style" for even greater understanding.
Please know that actual sex therapists are trained to treat a variety of issues: intimacy enhancement, differences in desire, difficulty experiencing orgasm, difficult sexual experiences, body image issues, painful intercourse, out-of-control sexual behavior, erectile dysfunction, ejaculation issues, LGBTQIA+ concerns, etc. Text or call for an appointment!
