While I work with all sorts of clients, I have carved out a niche working with people who are going through life transitions. These transitions might look like going through a divorce or major career change. As a therapist, I rely on my background in systems theory to help look at different areas of your life, and help understand how they all have lead you to where you are today. I use a strengths based approach to help you rebuild yourself into the person you want to be, and to avoid getting stuck in the problems of the past. A good client fit for me is someone who wants change, even if they are not sure how to do that yet.
I can help you achieve your goals through practical coping skills based in CBT and DBT, which tackle daily struggles, as well as developmental approaches that look at your past for unhealthy patterns, such as Narrative and Inner-child therapy. My goal is to work with you, to help you learn how to best take care of YOU!
If you want to give therapy a try, feel free to reach out via my email, and a member of my team will help you find a time to set up an intake session. In the first session, we can further discuss what you are looking for from therapy. I hope to provide a comfortable space for you to process your needs, and find solutions!
