My name is Bryant Pearson, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). My approach is to help you figure out what challenges you are facing and the best way you adapt to stressful situation, treat your anxiety, depression, etc. as there is not one approach that is right for everyone. I focus on behavior identification and change in order for you to understand what the root cause of your feelings is. You are in control, and I am here on the sidelines to help you reach your goals. I want to partner with you as best as I can to help you get the care you need.
I am here to be a passenger in the vehicle with you, providing suggestions of where to turn and possibly how fast or slow to go, but you are in the driver's seat. you know you best and I want you to feel respected and understood that this is your treatment and that you are the professional in your own life.
I tend to help client's identify what goals they have, whether short term or long term, and then help to identify achievable steps in order to achieve those goals. With regular touchpoints to discuss the progress and re-evaluate if necessary. I am supportive and also challenge individuals to help to assure goals are obtainable.
