About
Struggling with addiction and feel rehab isn’t an option? Leaving your family, job, school and responsibilities for an extended period of time is not always needed to get yourself healthy and on track. If you or a loved one are struggling with addiction, I know the challenges of this lifestyle. Being caught in the cycle of addiction is hard--feelings of anxiety, guilt, and shame. You may have tried stopping on your own, only to find yourself engaging in the same unhelpful behavior. I have experienced this firsthand and know there are ways to escape the slavery to addiction. I specialize in moderation & abstinence based approaches.
My passion is helping people just like you overcome addiction. You are not weak or powerless, you are capable of making lasting change. You can learn effective ways to cope with life and the uncomfortable feelings that propel you to use. We will create a plan together based on your values, beliefs and goals, that will help you overcome your addiction.
Unsure if you want abstinence or moderation? I will work within your goals and help you clarify ambivalence. I provide practical and confidential phone, video, or in person addiction counseling and can help you achieve balanced living. Weekly group sessions, 3rd party assessments, and counseling for loved ones available. I look forward to working with you.

Realize Recovery
Seeking to overcome problematic substance abuse without attending rehab or "one-size-fits-all" out-patient programs? Group counseling can be as effective, and in some cases more effective, then 1-on-1 counseling. Engaging with others in a recovery support group setting can be helpful in building confidence, establishing a sober community, and help develop perspective and motivation. Groups can be a cost-effective option to supplement counseling and a great way to get connected with others in recovery. Learn how to overcome problematic addiction and apply what you learn into daily life. Space is limited to 8 participants.
