About
Struggling with addiction and feel rehab isn’t an option? Leaving your family, job, school and responsibilities for an extended period of time is not always needed to get yourself healthy and on track. If you or a loved one are struggling with addiction, I know the challenges of this lifestyle. Being caught in the cycle of addiction is hard--feelings of fear, failure, guilt, and shame. You may have tried stopping on your own, only to find yourself engaging in the same unhelpful behavior. Breaking this cycle alone is tough! Counseling may be more effective for you than rehab. I specialize in moderation & abstinence based approaches.
My passion is helping people just like you overcome addiction. You're not weak or powerless, you're caught in a vicious cycle that can be unlearned and changed! I can help you learn and implement ways to cope with urges and the uncomfortable feelings that propel you to use. We will create a plan together based on your values and your definition of recovery.
Feeling like 'one-size-fits-all' doesn't work for you? My affordable, practical & efficient phone, video, or in person addiction counseling can help you achieve your definition of balanced living. Click the "Website" button to view my fees and other available services. I also provide weekly group sessions, 3rd party assessments, & counseling for loved ones.

Weekly Addiction Support
Seeking to overcome problematic substance abuse without attending rehab or "one-size-fits-all" out-patient programs? Group counseling can be as effective, and in some cases more effective, then 1-on-1 counseling. Engaging with others in a recovery support group setting can be helpful in building confidence, establishing a sober community, and help develop perspective and motivation. Groups can be a cost-effective option to supplement counseling and a great way to get connected with others in recovery. Learn how to overcome problematic addiction and apply what you learn into daily life. Space is limited to 8 participants.
