People seek therapy for a variety of reasons. A common reason for beginning therapy is that some aspect of life does not feel as though it is working leaving you feeling frustrated, anxious, or unfulfilled. I enjoy working with people who have had successes in life, yet struggle to maintain happiness, energy, and a positive self-view. We work together to identify problems, both current and past, and new ways of working through them. I focus on the whole person in order to help people live their life in a way that feels whole, integrated, and satisfying.
In essence, therapy is a conversation focused on you that takes place in a unique environment in order to help you feel more fulfilled, effective, and whole. This process is not always easy, but moments of difficulty are necessary in order to be worked through, which leads to further progress.
In my practice I work with individuals and couples with a focus on living with more authenticity, integration, and satisfaction. The further on I go in my work the more I find myself enjoying it. This is partly due to the unique relationships I form with my patients in which they can be fully themselves and alive. It isn't always easy, but worth it.
