“A decision made in desperation can have long term, unforeseen consequences” I work with teenagers, college students, young adults, adults, as well as the family systems that surround them as part of my mental health practice with individuals with symptoms of anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma and addiction including early intervention substance abuse work. I am known for developing strong professional relationships with my clients and ability to develop an individualized plan to manage the issues in the here and now as well as to evaluate possible root causes of why issues may have developed to begin with.
I specialize in working with individuals who suffer from anxiety related issues such as generalized anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person centered therapy (PCT) as well as mindfulness to help my clients unravel the natural response to seek relief in maladaptive ways.
Coming to counseling for the first time can be a little intimidating but so worth it! Beginning the process is often the hardest part along with finding a connection with someone to share those personal things about yourself. I am currently accepting new clients via in office or confidential Telehealth with day and evening time availability.
