I am a clinical psychologist licensed in Florida and New Jersey. I provide therapy online and in-person for trauma, anxiety, phobias, depression, grief and chronic pain. I use clinical hypnosis as a tool to accelerate and deepen the work. I use Brief Cognitive Hypnosis to help people change dysfunctional habits such as smoking, overeating, problem drinking, problem gambling, poorly controlled anger, and behavioral disabilities associated with chronic pain. I'm trained in Clinical Hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
Brief Cognitive Hypnosis is solution-focused. It will help you make desired changes rapidly. It incorporates Hypnotic Regression Therapy and Analytical Hypnotherapy as needed to uncover the unconscious causes of your symptoms and release old pain. You will also learn to use "Mindful Self-Compassion" to build better distress tolerance.
Online sessions enable us to work together in the comfort of your home and my cozy office. After more than 35 years in practice, I’m really personable and good at what I do.
