I'm Bruce, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I enjoy working with clients to develop an equal partnership based on mutual respect and trust. I work to resolve inner conflicts formed around avoided thoughts, feelings, and memories in order to heal fragmented parts of self, improve clients’ satisfaction with their lives, and decrease psychiatric symptoms.
I offer Solution-Focused Brief Therapy for resolution of current problems, and use "deeper" therapy approaches to resolve inner conflicts: EMDR therapy for recovery from past trauma; Feeling-State Addiction Protocol to weaken the urge to repeat addictive behaviors; and Emotion-Focused Therapy to repair distrust and relationships with yourself and others.
As a lifelong learner about psychological healing, I apply both scientific and intuitive approaches to helping clients. I enjoy meeting with people to explore ways they can find greater satisfaction in their relationships with themselves, other people and life.
