Do you find yourself caught up in a cycle of other addictive behaviors such as gaming, the Internet or gambling? I have good news and bad news for you. First the bad news. It takes effort to stop addictive behaviors, and to address the underlying emotional or trauma issues that compel you to relapse over and over again. There’s no magic wand, no Abracadabra. Now the good news. The cycle doesn’t have to be endless, and recovery is possible!

I have 28 years experience working in the addictions and mental health treatment field and have worked in a variety of settings. I authored a workbook on Mindfulness-Based Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. I also specialize in behavioral addictions like gambling and the Internet, as well as coping with trauma that can perpetuate addictive behavior.

My approach is eclectic, client-centered, empathic, and goal-directed. My priority is to help folks either still struggling with addiction or beginning the recovery journey. I can help you chart a path to sobriety and wellness, and to begin to address the underlying reasons behind addictive behavior. I currently offer virtual appointments.
