I have a general practice and have experience and interest in treating a variety of issues including relationship problems, sexual difficulties, symptoms of anxiety and depression, problems with occupational performance, work-related stress, and career advancement, gay and lesbian issues, helping individuals maintain recovery from substance abuse, personality disorders, and anger management.
I specialize in working with couples and am certified both as an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist and as a Sex Therapist. This enables me to be well equipped to address both relationship and sexual issues in couples as well as individuals. I also have advanced training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP).
I view psychotherapy as a collaborative venture between myself and my client. By working together, each of us contributes to the understanding the client has of himself, thus enabling him to have more control over his life and be better able to steer it in a direction that will work out for him.
